Yes Ed those are the old IHRA classed. Rich Shaffer is trying this out to give the displaced IHRA guys a place to race. Should be some fun events. Grade points too. I plan to hit a couple of them

Not a big deal, but it's interesting to note that they made the crate indexes 2 tenths faster than IHRA had them at. Not familiar with the SS/P classes.

All IHRA indexes were at least 3 tenths softer than NHRA indexes, which are way soft.

I thought Myron had moved North and was racing with New Hampshire Econo Altered group.

Seriously as someone who has a car that was really built for Super Stock Production I would like to see this idea spread for Combo races and other special events.

I ran B/fIA in IHRA. Where will that car fit in super stock? somewhere close to SS/PJA-1. ??? 1998 lt1 Camaro.

Why not just run B, C, or D/SA?

As Mark said, same stock class as NHRA, B, C or d. If you want to run SS it will be SS/I, J or KA

Re: NHEA Div. 2 Opens - Schedules, Crate & SSP indexes

Most IHRA Super Stock production cars would end up in one of the "hood scoop" classes in NHRA.

I know my car which was built for SS/PDA ends up in SS/BS NHRA. To get in a classic Super Stock class I would need to change, the heads, pistons, carburetor, and get a flat steel hood.
