"LIVE" From Route 66 D3 LODRS
I will be heading west this morning to Joliet and will file a report from the track later this afternoon. Earlier in the week it appeared that weather would again be an issue but the latest forecast indicates there may be some intermittent showers on Saturday that would present some minor schedule adjustments. For those that are curious this forecast image below is from weather underground.

Does anyone know how late the track is selling tech cards on Friday? I called the track office today and they weren't sure but thought it was 1pm. I hope that isn't correct. I'd like to work as long as I can tomorrow and get there in time for the cleanup run.

It's an absolutely perfect weather day in Joliet today. The track opened at 2:00 and the long line of rigs stacked at the circle track is being admitted in batches.

Good morning let's start off Friday with a look at the forecast for the weekend. The forecast chart below from weather underground shows less risk of the racing being interrupted by rain On Saturday. It will be a warm weekend with temperatures well in to the 80s.

Stock finished its #2 qualifying run about 1:15. So far everything is running very smoothly. The weather is spectacular with clear blue skies. I'll get the SS sheet shortly

Today at Route 66 was one of the smoothest run and on time days at a D3 race in quite sometime. There were no significant on track issues and I'm sure that helped keep the schedule on time. Here are more of the random photos from Friday.

Good morning. Another perfect weather day here at Route 66. It doesn't look like rain will be an issue for the rest of the weekend. Stock and SS will get 1 more qualifying run this morning. Stock round 1 is scheduled for 11:30 and round 2 tonite as part of the Sundown Show. SS runs round 1 later around 6

I am no expert on HTML 5, but that appears to be the format. I am a windows desktop user, and have 2 browsers. My Firefox browser doesn't like HTML5, so I use Google Chrome browser when you tube videos won't play. The Google browser has a built in player, and works good for some things. Down load Google chrome and see if it helps. Also, the videos appear to play better if I watch it a minute after its live. Live video doesn't always load fast enough. Thanks for the video work, awesome job! |
