Re: Great job,George!!!
This is just so cool. Did you see his winner's interview? He was quite emotional, said he'd been doing this for 50 years and it was his first Wally, but he wished his kids and grandkids could've been there. Congrats, George!

Re: Great job,George!!!
This has to be ONE OF THE GREATEST top 5 wins we have ever witnessed. George came over Saturday afternoon looking for an engine. Unfortunately, we did not have one in the trailer and off on his search he went. We are not sure who loaned him the motor (Gary McGlasson???) but we know the Broaddus family were all over the task! We are sure there are many others who also chipped in to get the lovable George Stassi a shot at his first national event win. THANK YOU to all of you that made his win possible. There is no doubt his girls and the grandkids are so proud of not only him but all of you that made his 50 year dream come true.

Absolutely well stated. Thank you one and all for the support, help, and assistance you gave one of our favorites in this sport. That's called sticking together. We as racers need to do that every time we can. Thanks for all the kind words and encouragement George received. Also, George, best wishes on getting things up and running again with a new motor. These things never pick a good time to happen.Proud to know all you guys!!!!

Re: Great job,George!!!
Great Job George. Took my partner and me 29 years to win the first one the next one came a year later. So you broke the ice hopefully the next one will come soon. Pat on the back to whoever loaned you that motor. Am sure if the shoe were on the other foot you would have done the same. Congrats.

Re: Great job,George!!!
Was it a 327 combo that was offered in a 67 Camaro? I didn't know you could change engine combinations after tech closed.
