"Live" from Orlando LODRS Div. 2 2017
 

Of course we are not there yet!! But we are within an hour or so of leaving! It has been a long winter with only Kentucky basketball to keep us occupied. (And that has been kinda hit or miss!)

With 833 miles to go, we may not arrive until Wed. But any of you that are there, please post and update us on what's happening!!

I will post tomorrow as we go our merrily way along!

We live just north of Orlando on the coast. Calling for showers Wednesday and Thursday in central Florida. Should be fine for the weekend, but things can change quickly here! See you guys there.

Larry & Patsy, Barbara and I just got to the track(7pm Monday). Eight or ten rigs in line. Not sure yet who is here, know Jim & Pam Marshall are here. Will check it out in morning. I drove 1000 mile's in the last 2 days -- and am staying in a nice RV park in Bushnell.

Charlie, Think some of us are going over to the east coast of Florida tomorrow to do some sightseeing. Pro Mod test day tomorrow might be interesting for some.

We are south of Atlanta!! So is National Margarita Day today or Wed? If it is today, I hope someone has one ready for us! By the time we stop for fuel, we probably won't be at the track til about 7:30. Too bad Stan and Sheila Holt won't be here! They always have some nice margaritas at their place!

The ride down has been uneventful ! Just the way I like it!

Hi Patsy, National Margarita Day is Wednesday, but rumor on the street is there will be Magarita time trials on Tuesday in the holding area at Orlando!! Hope to see you there!! Safe travels!

We are here and stacked. Didn't get here in time for clean up but we will be ready tomorrow !! Got a little caught up with Jim and Pam and Mike and Barbara! It is calling for rain tomorrow so looks like a good day to sleep in. After 750 miles riding today after another 250 yesterday I am ready for bed! May be watching the KY game thru my eyelids!

Jerry, the Challenger will be out later this year!!

Tonka and I have been here since last night. Rained for about 20 min. This am. Glidden update is he underwent surgery yesterday to put a brace on his four broken ribs to keep from puncturing a lung. His lungs are bruised and being evaluated for head injury. Car has Been cut up to get him out. No word on why it happened. It was a horrific crash. Video was on local news channel yesterday. Jim

Well it has rained here all day! Quite a few rigs here stacked. No news on what is happening tomorrow . We are still hoping to test. I am sure everything depends on the weather! Forecast is for 20% chance of rain tomorrow , then sunny the rest of the weekend!

We are in and parked and teched. We had planned to test but the track hasn't announced if they are going to run it! A few sprinkles just fell as I was starting out with my camera.

The pits are wet but should be drying up soon. Looks like great weather beginning tomorrow

Patience is a virtue, Mr. Jeff!!!

Anyway, we just made our first run since last year! 56 stockers here!

DA is 2340 so I don't think there are going to be any record setting runs this weekend. David Barton was on the line with a couple of cars but he didn't run himself I don't think!! Lots of people on the brakes first run as usual. We ran .69 under and I think Larry was happy with that for now. We should get another run a little later.

We bent a valve so we are out for this race! Parts should be here by Tues so hopefully we will be ready for Gainesville!
