National Event entry
I was just curious as to how someone can enter an event that's not open yet. I'm not trying to start anything, just curious that's all.

Re: National Event entry
Usually the best way to find out about something like that would be to contact nhra.

Re: National Event entry
You're so right Bruce but I wasn't that curious! Thought someone could enlighten me a little on here.

Current Gold card holder...past world champion...defending eliminator winner

Re: National Event entry
If you have a Pro license I believe you can enter at anytime, I have often thought about going to a driving school and getting one. A Pro category license does not have a grade point therefore the entry list is always open for them, this is where the flaw lies.

Re: National Event entry
Thanks for the replies, might not be a bad idea Herbie to go get us a pro license probably would be a little bit fun too!

Re: National Event entry
Ask Randi Lyn Shipp.

Re: National Event entry
I would ask her but I don't know her, she does seem to have the inside track on this though.

Re: National Event entry
The Pro license would only work for entering Pro categories, not sportsman categories with quotas.

Re: National Event entry
Once again, Pros can walk on sportsmen in NHRA. Not surprised.

I know she I'd an incredible driver and has won many races... I noticed she was entered in every race at the start of the season... Not talking bad, sincerely asking. |
Re: National Event entry
I didn't intend this thread as a shot towards her, she's not the only one entered in events that are not open yet. I just didn't understand how it was possible. It really doesn't matter in her case she has enough grade points I think to enter the White House if she wanted!

Re: National Event entry
Tony Janes, does Bo, Jason or Greg Anderson own their race cars? Or are they just drivers? Tom

Re: National Event entry
I should have said Pro Stock driver. Ken Black owns the Pro Stock cars and Bo is the owner of the Firebird.
