If it's the same Deez I've heard of, they would probably be your best bet to ask.

A project of mine on the back burner is a 1985 Camaro with the Iron Duke 151 4 cylinder motor. Came only 2 years in Camaro. I have parts to build motor plus a 1985 Camaro.

Motor came with TBI Fuel injection, roller cam, rated at 115 HP I think. I have Chevy bellhousing or BOP bolt pattern blocks.

I think a Fiero would be fun. Rear engine and 93" wheelbase.

Part of the problem with W/SA is finding a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, with a 4-cylinder engine, heavy enough to have more than 24.0 lbs-per-horsepower AND be listed in the Guide! But it sure would be FUN!!

There ya' go. Shaw should have been on that list!

1985 model, 22 lb car w/auto...makes 24 lbs.

125 transaxle, Real short Drag Radial , pumped up to about 30 psi..Never spin!

I can see this now..28 " front tire, WFO against the converter on the line.

A final with a AA/Stocker against a W/Stocker would be fun. "OK ladies and gentlemen, there goes the W/Stocker. Please remember, the concession stands are open, and you certainly have time to go for a hot dog and Coke before the AA/Stocker gets to leave."

That type of race is fun to watch if you appreciate class racing. Don't forget you would have time to stop by the NHRA Tralee and get a t short too before the AA car leave the line.

I remember someone from Mississippi had an S-10 that ran really fast in W/SA-he got HP added, so I don't know how competitive it is anymore.
