Dan Fletcher... Super What ??
 

Hey everyone, I thought some of you might be interested in a few photos I snapped of Dan's 69 Camaro Super Stocker.... or maybe not. I'm up here visiting the Fletcher family and when I walked into his garage and looked at the Super Stocker, I saw a few modifications that you don't see on your everyday Super Stocker.

Dan is not home at this time and I figured what the heck, I will start a thread without him knowing it, and see what type of reaction I get on Class Racer. Dan has been known to try many different combo's in his 69 Camaro over the years, but this has to be the most perplexing yet. Let me know your thoughts and or what class Dan plans for this new combo. I have not talked to Dan about it yet, but when I do I will give you the scoop....... that is if he does not throw me out.

I would guess he is getting ready for the Spring Fling in Bristol...he had the S/ST Nova down there last year.

This post is timely [no pun intended] as I plan forward with the Super 10.

For the 2017 season we will race selected Lucas D 4 events plus local brackets. All with the same basic setup except possible carb change.

I need to re-hone my no-box skills for that up-coming D 4 win.

Ya know, Dan's no dumb bunny. The fuel line is the "gimme".
Tech inspector sees fuel line mounted on firewall. Gives him lecture on fuel line on firewall and tells him to go fix it. Tech inspector completely misses delay box, throttle stop and Holley carb. Dan goes on to win event running SS/JA.

Super street. The super gas walley he won driving the valvoline vega at Atlanta if I remember right. Just can remember mikes name from valvoline when they were at the nationals etc

Ron just remember you shouldn't run the 100 yard dash commando, chaving can be a problem.

This is actually Dan Fletcher's new venture in Drag racing. Dan will probably have no problem with traction. Like the new sponsor, St. Mary's which should be good with the man upstairs.
