So we lost Montgomery after 1yr....and pick ATL back up....? So why didn't they just keep Montgomery and add ATL? How is Rockingham considered div 2?

Because ZMAX is division 2 and they are an hour apart

Division 2 is dwn probably because car counts were down. IHRA gets as many or more cars than div 2 races

We need a better division director in Div 2. The one we have has done nothing to improve the division.

What they are showing is a divisional the week before both Gainesville and Charlotte

I don't know if you run any IHRA. There will be 5 events in 4 consecutive weeks here in Fla. early in the year. Immokalee will be first with a double Pro Am usually the last week of January. That schedule has not officially been announced yet. Orlando has a nitro Jam the following week. The week after that is the NHRA div 2 points race at Gainesville with the Gators the following week. With that schedule if you run both sanctioning bodies it could be a nice "Snowbird Swing". Maybe Larry and Patsy would make the "Snowbird Swing".

I'm guessing the Zmax divisional is supposed to say April 15-17? It says April 23-25 on the schedule but the National Event is April 22-24.

They need to consider a double pts race at one of these to make up for only 5 races

The zMax dates look to be a typo - April 25th is a Monday!

Didn't they once have a double on the schedule for Atlanta?

The 2016 Division 2 schedule has been corrected. It now says that the zMax divisional is April 15-17. So it is the week before the zMax national which is April 22-24.

Division 2 schedule looking great! Back to back nationals and divisionals at Gainesville, Charlotte and Atlanta! Now maybe a double at one of the divisionals to give us 6 would be great!!

The IHRA race at Orlando is a Nitro Jam only. No Sportsman Pro Am involved. There will be a separate Pro Am race at Orlando on a different date to be announced. Jim

They put Great Bend on the same date as Rte 66. That will split the Div 5 cars again.

Maybe they will run the National Event in two lanes and the Division race in the other two lanes.

Glad to see some Div 2 races a little closer to home. From Raleigh NC the Div 1 races had actually been closer in the past.
