Well I figured I would just start a new thread to keep from stepping on Me Patsy's "Sea to Sea Tour". By now most of you have read about the Hill's misfortunes, hopefully it can be fixed and you guys can continue on!
I haven't actually made it to the track yet due to my own misfortunes, my rig broke down on I-20 last night and I haven't yet got going. Hoping to get it going soon and get on to the track and will have some updates later.

I actually had a Georgia State Trooper stop to check on me to make sure I wasn't stopping for the night! This was before the repair truck got here.

I made it without anymore issues, teched, registration, car ready and was able to make a clean up run. I'm tired and ready for a break.

I've just about had enough of this day but tomorrow is shaping up to be a very interesting day in Stock. We get 1 last qualifying shot tomorrow at 9a.m. and first round of eliminations in the afternoon.
Lots of interesting scenarios shaping up as the points races wind down. The top 3 Division One racers are here with Allison Smyth trying to add to her point total with Justin Picillo and Anthony Fetch in hot pursuit.
Division Two could be as interesting a points race as there is in the country. With current leader Kevin Helms in Dallas trying to add to his National points lead, Jeff Longhany and Jeff Hairrington are here trying to sneak past his total in the division race. With only 22 points separating the 3 it could get very interesting.
And finally, speaking of the National points, Charley Downing is also here trying to improve his current position of 7th.
Should be a great weekend of racing with good weather. I'll be back tomorrow with more and talk about Super Stock.

We ran 1st round a while ago and I don't have a lot of winners, but I do know that Jeff Hairrington and Jeff Longhany both lost. That will make Kevin Helms the Division 2 champ.

Good morning all. Any updates would be really appreciated as those of us in upstate N.Y. are dealing with our 1st lake effect snow of the year. We need a diversion like updates to keep the depression away. Granted it isn't sticking and the sun is breaking through occasionally,but we'd like to know how our racers are doing. Division 1 or otherwise.
Drag race central has been spotty at best with zero coverage of the rounds except the Moser Shootout.

We had started 2cd round and things were going pretty smooth but we are now on hold for a crash in Comp. I'm not sure who it was but it was announced that the driver is out and ok.
On another note, I think it will be safe to say that Joel Warren will be the Division 2 Super Stock champ. Congratulations Joel!

Update on the Comp crash, it was Pat Williams and he was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. I'm told he waved ok to someone as they put him in the ambulance, good sign I hope.

Well that concludes my season, had a little slip on my 1-2 shift and I was toast. I was .035 to Justin's .042 and I know we both had a few in the pocket because of the wind, that was definitely going to fun!
I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing this season with everyone and am looking forward to next year.....

Sorry James that you didn't put away Justin. I was hoping for Allison Smyth's sake, that he'd go down earlier. How far have they gone in eliminations. Nothing's being posted on this site or drag race central. Is there another sire we can view and find out ?

Walt they were in the semi-finals about 30 minutes ago but I had no details, I was checking on a friend in Comp and he had just lost. If I hear anything about stock I will post it.

Stock was Randy Payne over Justin. I'm pretty sure he needed to win to have a shot at "The Shrimp" . She had him by 42 points coming in here. I got that from her mom. Jim
