Who's all coming to the Midwest Class Racers Presents Make A Wish Race at Marion South Dakota this coming weekend Sept 13th & 14th?? 9 make a wish kids & their families will be there & they will be picking a car to ride in for the Stock/SS Parade before Elims on Saturday Night!! Hope to see a Record car count!!! I know I will be there!!

Sat: time trials 3pm & 4pm
Make A Wish parade 5pm
Elim @ 6pm
Sun: time trials 9am & 10am
Elim @ 11am

Weather looks to be cool & dry (FAST&FUN) Don't miss out on a great race for a great cause.

The 2014 Make A Wish race will be here shortly (Sept 13-14). Put this great race on your schedule. Thunder Valley Dragways has been a great place to race this year with a hard working starting line crew the traction has been second to none and the tower keeping us on 1 hour turnarounds. Not to mention the best S/SS payout in the country ($2000 to win $1000 ru) for a small entree ($110 per day - $10 going to Make A Wish) so we hope to see a great turn out for a Great Race for a Great Cause!

We hope to have all 3 cars there (last race in jr for Tanner) looking forward to a Great Race! Now if we could only get the boys back from the wild west it would be a perfect weekend - how about it Old Injin & Had To Be There?

Bill has been busy getting the gift packets together for Sundays race. Looks like there will 6to 8 giveaways pickedby qualifying position. Should be great weekend. John

hadtobethere we did not find the Jack but if i remember right the boys from Neb found it (like blood hounds when it comes to good booze) Looking forward to a great race will keep all posted who can't make it.

Saturday's winner was Brad Van Lant, we had I think 62 cars! Runner up was Scott Dugdale.
The Make A Wish parade was really cool and the kids seemed to enjoy riding along. Big kudos to Gene Bichlmeier for the Midwest Classracers Lifetime Achievement award! Today we do it all again!

Congrats to Brad Van Lant! For his win on Saturday night. 62 cars in Thunder Valley! Brad went to the last 3 cars today(Sunday) What a great weekend for the Linn Creek long hauler. Congrats to Randy Shepard who I believe was today's winner. In his 4spd Camaro. I believe that was Randy's 3rd win at Thunder Valley in the last 2 years. Wish I coulda been there!

A Huge Thank You goes out to everybody who made this last weekend the best we have ever had. The car counts where great (62 on Sat - 67 on Sun) The Make A Wish race & parade was the most heart warming fun event we have ever done ( seeing smiles on the face of less fortunate children made all the work worth it ) . Thunder Valley did an outstanding job (that track had teeth). And the racing was as intense as National Event not to mention a great payout. Thanks again to all who helped make this race posible & the racers who raced with us.
