One of the busiest racers was Darrell Ciaravino in his blue SS/HA 68 Camaro. Darrell lost on the Semis to winner Lowry and went 4 rounds in No-Box too. Here Darrell runs Doug Boxs' A/SA Camaro in the Quarter Finals.

A/SA was popular class with 6 cars - evenly sit between Max- Wedge Plymouths and big block 69 Camaros. John Dinkel and Jim Nichols went at it in round 2.

Thanks for organizing this race. I had a great time. The Milan crew did agreat job on the starting line. Also would to thank John for taking care of the ladder. Congrats to winner Bob Lowery. I hope you plan to hold more of these combo races next year.

Thanks for the reporting and photos. I got my first taste of drag racing at Milan in the mid 60s. Went 1-2 with my parents K/PS Mustang. They didn't know about the K/PS part, though...

Racing buddies and Cobra Jet collaborators Jimmy Ronzello and George Wright met in the second round. When George went red against Jimmy, some thought he was taking a dive - you know - "Team Orders". And nobody was really believing George until they saw his light -.0017. He was gunning for Jimmy - he was that close to drilling the tree.

I looked at the photos and it was Dan Olding. His Monte Carlo is one unique car. JImmy Ronzello was telling me he bought it brand new at the Chevy dealer in 2000 and took it straight to Mike Pustelny to build into a GT car.

Bill - thanks! Not surprising from the high intellect of "The Crow".

And Dan, my apologies. Between you and John Dinkel, you guys probably have more laps at Milan than the rest of the other guys combined.

There will be more of these races in 2015. Everyone at Milan was great to work with and they want us back. And we will look at US 131 - and some cool possibilities like joint races with the Can Am guys and the Series in Ohio. Stay tuned and pass along your ideas.

Mike, Thanks for putting on this event. Great to have Stock and Super Stock running at Milan again. A big shout out to the folks at Milan Dragway for grooming the starting line , it hooked great all day ! Looking forward to more events next year.

Great Deal, Mike !!! Thanks for the S/SS combo race !, George Wright is the bomb !!, He has more cool Ford Stock, and Superstock race cars, than anyone !!! And, he builds more really cool Ford CJ Mustangs than almost anyone else !!!

It looked like a great race, wish we could have made it.
Its was tuff to drive 8 hours one way to finish up a national event when there's a combo 10 miles from home.
Can't wait to run a few of them next year.
