What's the fastest 60ft that anybody has seen on a 9" tire stock or Super stock car?

I've been 1.395 on the rear wheels @ 3720 @ Kearney Nebraska, 30X9 Hoosier. 3.73 330.

I went a best of 1.26 with Jack Matyas's LS1 Trans AM last year at A weight. Made a bunch of passes between 1.27 - 1.29. I am sure there are some that are much quicker.

I don't believe Ed ran a 9 inch tire. Joe Abazia ran some 1.28 60 foots with his B/SA Chevelle in testing at Atco "Disneyland" on a 30x9 Hoosier.

Merryfields drag pak as gone 1.26

My Challenger fall classic 9" 4 year old tires. Could not believe they were still hookin. 1.208 60ft

I went 1.21 yesterday testing, and I figured there were some out there going 1.19 or maybe a little better on 9" tire, but I don't recall seeing any.

Too bad you restricted it to stk/ss-I think Jason Coan has had a 1.06 in his FED. I know he's been 1.08 in the G/EA Bantum.

Mr. David,

Comp is welcome as well. I didn't think about comp because not many run 9". I know Frank Aragona runs that on his cars.

I've had the drag pak in the low 1.20's, that was with the power glide.

I thought our 1.256 was pretty good @3500 lbs and the two speed but not so much on here

We are happy with our overall performance - 60ft is just one of the measures

Someone posted a time slip a while back of a Bo Butner 8.99 pass and it had a 1.27 60 ft.

If..... the old cars had 4 link/torsion bar/coil over and total adjustability we too could have much faster 60 foot times on a 9 inch tire.

1.21 seems like it would be an awesome 60 for that firebird. You have a trans brake in it, right Cooter? SS/HA weight? How certain are you that you didn't catch the 60 ft beams with your nose?

With a F body lots of times it will trip the 60' with the nose out of the wheel stand. I have had to use the 330' to get the most accurate times.

We've gone 1.28 with the Corvette at A weight plus 20 lbs. 3710 lbs.

This was in the firebird footbrake. I went 1.34 on the rear wheels and it's usually .13-.14 slower with rear wheels.

They can trip the stripe on top too!!! Got beat this way a few times.
