Yesterday morning we had -30 with out the windchill. Having a heat wave today at +9 but Sunday's high is calling for -22

oh no. no it is "man made climate change" can't just be the weather. I mean not "man made" just the united states fault. wonder if they got the cruise ship down in antartica the was there on the global warming cruise out of the 15 inches of ice it was stuck in yet??????? hope so..;) what an "inconvenient truth"

It was 35deg outside my door this morning with a wc in the high 20's here is Jacksonville, Florida. Heard on the radio the wind chill in Gainesville was 17deg this morning, crazy global warming! It was pooring down rain here wednesday and thursday, now this. Oh well give it a day or so and we will be wearing shorts then shoveling snow.

Oh yeah ! Spent New Years Eve at my moms house in the VILLAGES with one eye on the storm heading for the northeast. Next morning made the decision to head home to beat the storm. Glad I did. Got about 10 inches of light powder but windblown. IT IS COLD FOR THIS AREA and going down to 5 tonight. Must really look good on TV. Love the drama of the weather channel. LOL

Was 34 degrees here this morning, wore thermal underwear, 3 shirts, a parka, hand warmers and 3 pairs of socks...LOL Oh and we lit the fireplace too.

nice here in Miami. Sunny and cool about 68 degrees. Haven't put a jacket on this year. I feel bad for you all up there!! Keep warm and safe.

Its all depending on what clothes you need or have. Dog sledding a few years ago in upper Minnesota. Multiple layers and had lunch out on the frozen lake..No problem.

I was born and raised in the Mid West. Lots of good memories of snow and cold weather. Like: hockey on the frozen pond, building snowmen, sledding...........(can't remember any more)......frost bite, frozen snot all over your face.....LOL
Now that I am old, I believe I will stay in Arizona. 73 degrees, in shorts, t shirt and flip flops....going out to mow the grass in a little while.

Its the coldest day here so far this winter. 55 degrees. Biggest problem we have is the "No Driving" snow birds making a pest of themselves. Cant wait until April until they go home.

-32 with the windchill yesterday, now it's -20 with the windchill and snowing like ****! Already blew the driveway out and when I was done there was another 2" already down again. Winter sucks. I'd rather watch storms on the weather channel than the front window. LOL!

Global warming...heard about a month ago the ipcc put out their latest report and one of the "denier" scientists asked why in the last 13 years (2000-2013) there was no discernable warming and in fact there was a cooling trend. They went crazy on him and said 13 years isn't enough to prove a trend. He responded,"but you used 13 years (1985-1998) to "prove" there was global warming! They wouldn't respond after that...funny huh?

Oh, and it's not just the USA's fault, it's any western, democratic, capitalistic, RICH country that's to blame. Because after all, if your rich, you must of done something illegal or immoral, there's no other way in their minds.

I better get off the soap box, this really gets me going...and I'm not "rich" by any means!

8 degrees this morning in Bridgeport, CT when I was shoveling the 6 inches of "global warming" out of my driveway; going down to zero tonight. Nothing like the Feb.8-9, 2013 blizzard when we got 30 inches of "global warming".

As far as this global warming debate....I heard that no matter what the US does concerning the reversal of global warming trends..until other countries get involved, its a push. I think whatever California does in one year to clean up the air is negated by one days 'business as usual' manufacturing in china. China even has to close down some cities for a day or so because of bad air.
In the interim, until the 'powers that be figure out if there is such a thing as global warming and if we all want to work together on it....bundle up, stay warm, enjoy the season. It is wintertime after all.
BTW...-27 the past few days in Syracuse NY and I was outside working in it. ITS COLD!

At present it is a balmy 56 degrees here in Texarkana Arkansas
forcast low for tomorrow night is 16. What you want to bet the Temp at midnight is the high for Sunday... Then a forcast 15 for Monday night

It was 55 or so yesterday here in Lake Placid, Florida but its shorts and T-shirt weather today. 82 degrees, sunny and I have all my windows open in the house. Its a good day to ride the Harley !

We raced sat in Gainesville. It was 39deg at my truck and was -1250 DA!. We had to wait a while to start because it was overcast with no sun and we had to wait for the track to dry. Plenty fast though!
