Thanks for posting those shots, one thing that makes me REALLY nostalgic, is that I had attended (spectator) Indy in 1969, The stands were FULL during the sportsman classes!!

Who was the 1st Pro Stock E.T. record holder in NHRA ?

Jenkins set the 1st MPH [138.46], but didnt run below the 9:75 min.

In June of 70 NHRA changed it to 9:95

Motown Missle 9.94 7-1970

Does anyone have info on the McCoy-Mills-Stafford AA/S 64 Ford (Galaxie). Are anyone of them still around? (Tom?) Stafford may have run some CJ cars late 60's and early 70's around California. Friends of mine bought a 64 LWG in California a few years back and think it may be this car.
