Attention Division 1 racers

OK, boys and girls,

While he may not wish for me to post this, I am anyway. Got a text message a little while ago from Joe DeMarzo. Seems like he had a bad day today. In short, he fell on his trailer and broke a vertebrae, some ribs and has a few other injuries. In short, he is in a LOT OF PAIN. Believe the meds are finally kicking in, though. Cheer him up with a card, text, e-mail, dancing girls, cigars or whatever. For the last five years, him and I have exchanged text messages, e-mails and cigars and as crazy as it sounds, we have never met face to face. Some day we will meet. Anyway, keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks, Todd

OUCH!!!!!
Must be time for an enclosed trailer. Don't rush your recovery, back injuries suck big time.
Take it easy,
George

Joe,

Been there, done that, and I feel your pain. Stay positive, listen to your doctors and before you know it, you'll be climbing over the roll bar gain.
Get well soon.

Joe, hope you are feeling better soon, let me know if you need anything, and for the last time ,leave your wallet in the house when you work on the car/trailer, you know it throws you off balance!!!!!!!!

Re: Attention Division 1 racers

Thank you all for the well wishes, it really did brighten up my spirits. It was a dopey move on my part. I will be on the sidelines for the next 6 to 8 weeks while the ribs and vertebrae heal. The blood in the urine looks like a bruise in the kidney and should go away with rest.

I may have to sell the green monster and get a stocker that leaves easier on the body.. NOT!

I will be back.

Thanks again.

Re: Attention Division 1 racers

Joe, This sounds like no fun at all, normally I would suggest a good cigar and a klondike bar or three, but i guess that may feel good, but will not be a cure all.

The only thing I know is that back injuries do respond well to bed rest, so even though you may want to move around and do some stuff, don't ,,,, for awhile

rest up my friend

Dave
