Carolina Stock Super Stock Race at VMP Saturday, October 26. Gate opens at 8:00am and time runs begin at 10:00am. Entry is $80.00 with 100% pay back If we have 50 cars, that's a $4000 purse. I still have some of DMs nitro to run this race with !! R they testing fri nite. Im coming with all 4 barrells. Jim i lost ur # . Hope to c u there with one of ur fleet!!

VMP is showing a T&T on the schedule for Friday Night the 25th, gates opening at 5 PM, racing from 6 - 11. Might be a good idea to call the track to make sure we can leave our rig's parked overnight, and more importantly, whether there will be security on the premises.

Saturday looks to be a fun-filled event! The Pro-Mod's will be running a full 1/4-mile!:D

Overnight should not be a problem , we know M. Y . will be making midnight runs so just give him a badge and he can be security . :)

We'll be there, but with the vette's engine down and ole Bessie needing a face lift it'll be at about 60 mph slower than i'm accustomed to.

What does the schedule look like for the stock/ss meet? I see the schedule on their website for the nostalgia stuff starting at 10am. Are we being mixed in with that? Is anyone running the nostalgia race along with the stock/ss race?

Also, Will fuel be sold there?

I think the track has fuel for sale, Kevin. If you can use it, there is a Shell station just off the US 1 exit on I-85 heading towards the track that sells Cam ll racing gas for right around $8.50 a gallon.

I was thinking about running the Nostalgia race also, it all depends on the schedule on Saturday. Hopefully there will be enough time between our events.

The track sells Sunoco fuel, also there is a United Rentals justbefore track on the right that sells VP if you need that. I wish I could attend but I have a prior commitment I cannot get out of. Weather will be COOL bring a jacket!

Brandon Peterson was the "Champ' at yesterday's Stock/Super Stock Combo! Joe Huestis,driving the "Annie's Song" Monza was the runner up.

It was a long day of racing, as the cold weather forced us to have a very late start, and what seemed like a never ending string of oil-downs meant we didn't finish until well after sunset. A great group of Carolina Class Racers stayed up-beat in spite of the delays.

Scott will be publishing the complete results and updated points totals in a few days!
