October 6 marks Race # 5 at Fayetteville Motorsports Park, Sponsored by Currie's Towing. Gates open at 10, Time Trials start at 12.

David, I think that race is going to be a 1/4-mile event, just like the race scheduled for Virginia Motorsports Park later this fall. The second FMSP race is an 1/8-mile.

running low on fuel!! eight mile please. I know of two cars who balked at showing up because of 1/4 mile racing and shutdown concerns

This race has also been 1/4 mile & this specific one has been advertised all year as 1/4 mile so I think that needs to be stuck with. I realize last year that we changed the shootout race to be run on 1/8 mile instead of 1/4 mile but it was 8 racers who voted on that & the race was also run later at night. I know we race at Fayetteville all the time but shutdown isn't really a big issue in my opinion. See everyone there Sunday!

I'm thinking of coming down early and making a weekend of it. Does anyone know which track in the area races on Saturday this week? Coastal Plains looks like they have a big race on the schedule, but are also making a Test-n-Tune available Saturday as well. Any other ideas for a "Double-Header"?

We will keep it a 1/4 mile race. I just wanted to make sure that most wanted this as a 1/4 mile race. I have heard that some running 145mph and more have a stopping concern.

Lew, you might want to try Dunn Benson. They are having a bracket race and that is on the way to Fayetteville.

Was looking forward to being there for 1/4 mile action ,but not happening for me , back injury taking me out not looking good for Carolina powerfest either .. Good luck to all ! Maybe someone could take up donations to get M.Y. Some fuel . Hey here is a thought put the 2bbl back on it and only use half as much problem solved .

a big thanks to DMjunior for donating his nitromenthane to me to finish the season. his trip to orange ct without the proper seat hurt his back. my old pony will b back.mite should put sway bars back on her for sharp left turns!!

Let's change fundraising for fuel since I returned yours back cause I don't have enough cubic inches to burn it and put it towards a dictionary or spell check app. :):):)

I knew it!!!!! Actually everyone in division 9 knows it. Also his 2 bbl burns as much fuel as my dominator! Just saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Homer Carty for the win at Fayetteville and to Sterling Simmons for his runner up.

Travis Blalock won the second chance race with David Zimmerman taking the runner up spot.

The winner of the Bordeaux Machine best winning reaction time goes to Homer Carty with a .5004 light in the semi finals!!!! Sterling Simmons came close to getting it with a .5099 light in the 3rd round!!!
