MCR has done a great job raising $ for these events (Thanx to great sponsors) now all we need is 50-60 s/ss cars and this will be a fantastic race for drivers and spectators!

Remember ~ 2 races 1 tow
low entree fee ( $85 lowest anywhere for this caliber of race)
Payout that kicks a national event pay out
Great wheather should be FAST n FUN

Sat is a night race with time trails at 3-4-5 elimitations at 6 wrapping up by 10-10:30
(works good for traveling people or them that have to work Sat mourn)


Sun has time trials at 10-11 eliminations 12:30 (by 4 on sunday someone could have $4000 in there pocket) Thanks for asking hope to see sum new faces at TVD (marion sd)

Weather is looking good for the MCR race at Marion. Finally we have fall weather!

Hey, do me a favor....some years ago I was there and left a bottle of 30 year old Jack Daniels by the scales (I hid it under the scale on top of the right front frame support, wrapped inside a large old pair of DB's Fruit of the Looms).....that is why the scales have always been heavy.

Send it to my PO Box...I will pickup the postage tab.

If them shorts had a brown racing stripe in the back,they were left in DB's truck by one of SK's old girl friends.

Dan, glad to see those scales working...sorry to hear about my bottle of Jack.

As far as that old pair of DB's Fruit of the Looms, I think he was wearing them when he was tossed for too much 'cam lift'...so they need to be burned.

I don't know about the cam lift but i know he had a lot of lift in the front of those Fruit of the Looms !

I can't tell you what happened today due to an early exit - an oil leak got me shut off after the burnout 1st round. Haven't investigated yet, but I had 3.5 hours to think about it on the way home and I bet it has something to do with my experimental "poor man's vacuum pump".
I can tell you that Saturday's final was Larry Vierregger vs. Dave Picht with Dave taking the $$. I had a great time meeting lots of people and putting faces with names, and even won 2 rounds last night. See you all in Kearney.

Last time out at Oahe, the track HOOKED! That might have led to the demise of "Christine's" rear end! Literally! lol

No car to make TV. I do not make a good spectator!

Working on a "project"! Hope to be able to make the Koppien/Christiansen Memorial and National Open sponsored by Midwest Class Racers this week end at Oahe Speedway in Pierre as a competitor.
