Carolina POWERFEST Oct. 11-13, 2013 Fayetteville, N.C.
 

Not sure how many of you have heard about this event but we are having a Stock/SS combo race as well as a lot of other cool things going on.

Combo race is $50 entry $2,000 to win---$500 R/U---$250 Semi's
Qualify Saturday during the pro show w/ first round Saturday night and run completion of event on Sunday.

Pro Mods----Jet Car----Slingshots. TOP E.T. & F.B. running all 3 days.

FREE SPECTATOR TICKETS all 3 days compliments of Kangaroo stores so there is no charge for family & crew.

I hope you have a good turnout.....from what I can see its a busy weekend with NHRA Div 2 @ Reynolds...the Dutch Classic, and the Factory Outlaw race at MIR.

No, that was my dad. I am not old enough to have went to Dover when they raced but we did walk around years ago when all the gravel was there.

I came up with a cool idea this weekend at Darlington and I just got the approval from Anthony & Michael. I am going to be giving away, prior to first round of the combo race, a FREE tech card for the Auto Meter Class Nationals in 2014. This will be a random drawing for everyone who enters and passes tech to run the combo race and it will be NO charge. The fairest way possible is complete random, luck of the draw winner.

Also, I want to introduce the DASH-4-CLASS run off after TT's. This will be a $10 entry and the closest to the dial will also win a Weekend Tech Card for the 2014 Class Nat's. The winner of the "DASH" will not be eligible for the random drawing.

So at this years Carolina POWERFEST, we will be sending 2 lucky racers to Columbus for what looks like an awesome event.

Well racers, we are down to ONE MONTH from today before we start parking rigs. I know everyone has bracket finals on their minds and as most of the country starts winding the season down the Carolina's is just starting to heat up. Don't forget, IHRA & NHRA bracket finals champs, Raider ET Challenge champs and Carolina Coalition champs all get a FREE weekend tech card for this years event. See everyone in October!

2 weeks left til we open the gates! Don't forget about the FREE tech card for the Class Nat's that we are giving away....DASH-4-CLASS and 1 random drawing prior to eliminations. Also, double entries are permitted. Each car can go down the track a maximum of 2 times during eliminations so feel free to jump into TOP or F/B and run all weekend for great prizes and money for a low entry fee. 1 week to go! From the phone calls and emails we should have a solid showing. I know the Kangaroos are getting their SECOND batch of 50,000 FREE tickets tomorrow so if you have never raced in from of 15,000 screaming spectators....you might wanna come down and race! We will be parking racers from Thursday @ 5pm-10pm so get here early and get a great spot. We have 3 bouncy houses for the kids and free t-shirts for every weekend tech card for the racers. We are also trying to raise money for Susan G Komen breast cancer foundation.....$20 POWERFEST/KOMEN shirts for sale with all proceeds donated to Komen For The Cure. Hope to see everyone there!
