That's a feat that will be hard for any sportsman class racer to match.. maybe ever(?).

I think that's the biggest story at this race. Maybe the season.

One of the very, very few sportsman drivers good enough to do it full time for a living.

A Long way from 1994 Springs ..after beating Greg Stanfield...and longer from leaving Xerox .


I hope they profile him with a little bit more time when the telecast of the sportsman classes air on ESPN2 in coming week(s)?.

The average drag fan who may tune in ..should see and know..more about a hard working (from the first of February to the first of November..) Racer who deserves some big attention at least once as one interview with a JFR segment would get.

Congrats, Dan. I've got to admit, it was really cool watching him mow them down this weekend in both eliminators. It was nice spending some time in the lanes with him Friday and Saturday while waiting for my friend's S/G car to go up. A great guy to talk to.

Congrats Dan. I remember seeing his car first, Orange w I think black vinyl top but could be wrong at NYIRP Empire Nats in like 1990. Saw it most every year there till that race was done in like 2002 I think when he was not chasing NHRA points. And it was Summit racing? sponsored then I think. I miss that race.

Imagine he opened a driving school, lol. He'd sell out openings quick.

I remember a couple years ago when everyone was whining about Dan cheating, I saw a post on the Mopar board where a guy had been to a small track in the sticks of NY and Dan was there on a Wednesday night bracket racing.

Hardest working man in Sportsman racing indeed.

Only question is, how many races does it take him to get to 100? Maybe Ken can start a poll maybe free t-shirt to the person who gets the closest. Congrats on all your wins and double, obviously well deserved. Oh, and I say it takes 42 more races to get to 100, unless they just race on the west coast. I should clarify that 42 races and say 84 entries, 42 was assuming he was entered in 2 classes.

It was a long, grueling trip, but obviously worth it in the end. All I can say is I'm sooooooo glad to finally be home!!!
