David could pose for the picture...black hat etc. He'd still be making a statement as well as others for him. What can NHRA do then, not allow you/him to wear a t-shirt?

Somehow this all reminded me of an unrelated story. Bill Bader, Sr. has an extraordinary long term memory. He could've met you once in the '70s, and he'll remember your name, your wife's name, and your dog's name. Short term... not so much. :p Back when I worked there, you'd often hear, "Tom, Mike, whatever your name is, get in here!" We had a discussion once involving Woodro Josey, and he couldn't remember that name for the life of him. It always came out "the Outlaw Josey Wales". LOL

How about ordering a couple thou XXX large tee's with the wanted poster on them, rip off the sleeves and post this on Yellow Bullet instead. They likes them swear words over there.

I am not so sure he wants you and I helping him. Throwing a 100% of our creative effort towards helping him may elevate this from a simple fine/apology to a suspension/waterboarding.

Any hope of ever racing again he might have to claim special class status like LGBT or Tea Party.
