There are lots of cars in this area with in a 2 hour drive hope to have more than 20 cars we arlready know of about 15 for sure. There is 3 combo races at Pacific this year. How about Toby showing up have not seen him yet this year dont know if he knows about this race.

Didn't realize these were STK/SS combo races....I saw Super combo on the schedule and figured it was Super Street/Gas/Comp....I'll have to see if I can get out of work early! What time does qualifying start?

west coast 06-03-2013 03:14 PM

Re: Stock/Superstock combo Pacific Raceways

Yes those other dates are correct. Usally on a friday night there they start running about 5 for a test n tune, this is the first race for us JV talked to the track the other day he may have more info, will call him and then post.

west coast 06-03-2013 03:30 PM

Re: Stock/Superstock combo Pacific Raceways

Talked to JV doesnt sound like we have set times, if you have been there on a friday night for a test n tune you know it can very some what, but will get 2 hits then 1st round.
Since this is the first time we all will be learning how it goes.

Re: Stock/Superstock combo Pacific Raceways

Qualifying starts @ 5pm, weather looks to be on our side, and with some great help from some other racers, payouts will be good, for the first race we will pay to the semis.
I have some other people coming aboard for the 2nd an 3rd race. See you all Friday.

Hi Jim, good question, I will check on that tomorrow, usually Fridays with car counts shouldn't be an issue, I will check.

I'll be there......see you guys Friday!

Re: Stock/Superstock combo Pacific Raceways

:):) If the car count is great, and it should be, this will be a show that can't be missed. I love watching stocks and super/stocks, so will be near the water box for all runs. I haven't raced in years and still love hanging out with friends for deals like this. The weather should be good and if track prep is great should be a good show. Hope there will be more events like this in the years to come (2 more on the schedule for this year). See all of you there.

Just checked the Pacific website - Gates will open at 3----RACING from 5-11

FYI, For any of you racers that live south an would like to attend this event, Bill Bushmaker has offered his newly cut lawn to leave your trailers up north, instead of towing them back home. if you plan on going to Mission next weekend.

Re: Stock/Superstock combo Pacific Raceways

Jim, sent you a PM. Happy to donate some Safety-Kleen products for the purse winners. All that may attend, let me know what you may want.

The car count is looking good for this first race we know of 15 for sure, if Norm is coming that will make 16. I have about 11 other cars we are not totally sure about in the area that could be there, dont know if they heard about this race and or didnt know how to get a hold of them but will get the word out at the Mission Div race for the next 2 races. here are some people we on the list we dont know about yet that could be there. Don Elgin,
Caleb Hansen, Steven Horton, Alan Falcone, Rick Green, Pete Oliviero and some Canadians that are not that far away either. So Chime in if your coming. Thanks guys see you friday.

I would like to go, but I'm working swing shift.

So who's gonna do the "live from" reporting? Kelly? I remember you said you were going to start doing some reports, what happened?

West coast -- who is west coast anyway? Do you race? If not, how about doing some live reports - pictures, videos, text, post the Q sheet. Maybe if this series got some ink more people would start coming.

How about it guys???

west coast 06-06-2013 03:25 PM

Re: Stock/Superstock combo Pacific Raceways

:):) The weather is looking good for tonight. With the gates opening at 3 when will the line form to get in? Also, what is the current prospective car count? Would be very cool to see 25 to 30 cars at the first event. Sorry Toby can't be there, haven't seen him in a long time. Anyway, I will be there and hope to visit with all my friends tonight. Good luck to all that attend.

:):) Good to see Pete in a final. At 79 he is still doing what he loves - COOL. I had a great time and look forward to more of these events. The weather was perfect (including the sun in your eyes) and the track looked to be in very good shape. Very glad to help when it was needed (your welcome Kelly). I will be there on the 21st for the next one. A big YAHOO for the guys that put this thing together.

Re: Stock/Superstock combo Pacific Raceways

Thank you to everyone who pitched in on this, Hughes Performance, Norm Webber at Safety Clean, Truck Town, Brian Webber, crazy night for sure, we blew out a strutrod bushing on the challenger from a big wheelstand, oh ya hey Boyce your missing a rubber bumper on the back door of your trailer, ha ha, Kelly snapped a throttle cable in the quarters, but got it jerry rigged to send him to the semis. Thanks to all the racers it was a success.
