Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
This is interesting because per his Facebook, it says he works for englishtown. Also, a couple pictures that he had up of himself in the Lucas oil shirt are gone. Very interested to see the end of this story.

Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
He was talking on Facebook about how bad he missed NJ. (???) LOL
He is moving back home next week. Missed NJ a lot. Sure seemed to be a great guy. |
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
If Paul is gone. Really nice person. Please NHRA hire Dale House. Great for our's division. Just saying

Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
Bobby, I just heard from him this evening. I hate we are losing him.
|
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
Really nice person. Walked thru staging lane and greeted every racer

Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
Like Dale Ham used to. Nothing like our last one, who I never met. Think I saw him in the tower once. A guy that resembled the picture of the Director I had seen, anyway.

Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
that is a good person for the job chad i like that.

Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
I like the idea of Wesley as well, although I find it extremely unlikely. In my opinion, I think Dale House would be an equivalent of the same director that we had previously.
I would think this time, that they go with a fairly young person (35-40) that can mature and be in the position for years to come. I would love for Olan Gotcher to be the director, but I think age is a factor in that decision. A name some of you may know, Nick Duty, grandson of Larry Croft, is probably going to be in the running. He has a marketing degree and turned around Northstar Dragway. Also, Larry and Nick were headed to Thunder Valley this year to turn around that place as well. Nick would bring a fresh new look to the scene and bring some fun back to the races. Just my opinions. Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
"... a background in racing operations a plus"
REALLY why isnt that required ??? ... yea it would be a plus if i was hiring. good luck division 4 with your new director, he has a degree in sports admin, and has been working for the local single A baseball team promoting, marketing and managing the team... by the way he has never been to a drag strip... but he is in charge. REALLY ??? jack |
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
Sounds like normal hiring criteria for these times, no experience.
Check his fingernails and see if their manicured and clean. Wonder what is golf handicap is???? |
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
That's a tough group in Division 4.....
can't keep a director.... |
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
Nick Duty would be a good choice. The Duty Family and Croft family had a very strong program at Denton.
|
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????

bob unk would be a good man for the job also!!
|
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
Sammy I heard it looks like Nick Duty and from what I heard he's the real deal.
I wish who ever it is Good Luck, with all the key personel losses and with the limited amount of qualified people to get things done, he will certainly need it. RJ |
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
We need to get Lynwood for Race Director.
|
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
Anyone who knows Lynwood Dupuy, knows he would make a fine division director. As mentioned previously, Wesley Roberson would be another good choice as division director.
|
Re: NHRA division 4 directorless again????????
I think they should hire "The Field Marshal" Bobby Brannon, he is the best I've ever seen at being able to tell someone else what they are doing wrong!
