Does anyone know if the 2013 COPO's will have new colors
 

Just wondering if the 2013 COPO's will be available in different colors. Would be cool to maybe see a Blue,Silver, and Hugger Orange. Just my opinion

My husband races a older model Camaro and we just visited a Chevy dealer. The new Dark Blue think its called Blue Ray Metallic is the best blue I ever saw. So many of the Copo cars are White and Red can't see why GM would not offer such a GREAT color for the COPO's. Makes sense for marketing purposes. Too Many whites, reds they should mix it up. I understand there are going to change the graphics somewhat for 2013. First Graphics on number 1 looks to be the best, not sure why they changed the rest. BLUE BLUE BLUE gotta bring BLUE in the mix.

I believe if you can afford a COPO. You can afford a paint job or at least a wrap.

Agree with you Jack, certainly more than changing colors on a brand new car, wow. The new Blue looks real nice, think the differen't colors would be a plus for the COPO's.

I have been told by GM that up to this point the 2013 color choices will not change from 2012. Of course this could change but not likely.

I Hope GM has a change of heart, love to see more variety. Can't imagine why that couldn't. The COPO are cool lookin cars. When I order my street car it for sure will be the blue just a gorgeous metallic color especially in the sun.

Do the COPO's get painted on the line like the regular Camaro's? If so they should be offered in any 2013 color.

I am sure that the most requested color that the Ford's would like to see on the COPOS, is a bright shade of "dissapeared".

Some of us Ford guys actually like to see some "Challengers" for the belt. ;) What ever color looks best on the trailer I guess. JK Everybody. I'm actually really happy to see everyone's envolvement! It's certainly great times.

What were all the colors offered on the 2012 models. I've seen white, red, black, bluish grey and orange. Where some a special order? I'm still trying to decide on color for my CJ myself so I wouldn't know what color they should offer on the COPO. What about the cenergy green that's a special color on the regular camaros?

The colors offered were white red black dark gray light silver the made the last one burnt orange. The gray n silver each had only 2 Majority of cars were white. Think 42. Red n black total bout 13. There's probably a reason why the don't offer all colors, I just can't imagine why, especially when the dark gray and silver don't appear popular.
Had did it work with ford and dodge color selections. Just curious

I think a COPO would look amazing in the 2010 (1-year only) color of Aqua Blue Metallic.

More color options should be out there, for the money that one of these cars are. I don't see why not. The Aqua Blue Metallic is nice. This years Blue Ray Metallic is awesome. If I was in line for one of these cars my pick would be just that. Never know I may jump in like the rest. Not to leave out the Crystal Red Tintcoat, Inferno Orange Metallic, Or the Rally Yellow. It does look like someone is already Making their own Yellow COPO. Good for him and I wish him all the luck with it. That's my two cents.

you got some really awesome paint colors out there but
that blue is really awesome!!! Under the lights at night and in the sun with all that metallic chips, even if not a blue guy it will
still stop you to look at the camaro i hope they change their minds regarding the blue so if.i get the call, i hope, NO I PRAY that they tell me blue is now available.

Well looks like we will have to wait and see. Last year around Gainsville is when people started getting calls regarding the COPO. Thought they would have started earlier this year, Looking forward to the new graphics as well. Going to be an exciting year with the the big 3 going head to head. Amazing performance, bigger now than in the 60's.

Still don't know what colors were offered with Ford and Chrysler factor racecars. Be great if all colors were offered. Still partial to the new BLUE

Dark blue is always my first choice. My sons new Camaro is dark blue and it looks awesome.

Rumor has it that the Chrysler drag pak race cars this year will be offered in any production color for 2013. Has anybody hear the same.

I agree. A problem that they run into though is that they typically need to do a "batch" of cars one particular color to justify it. You can special order certain colors of a vehicle but you need to order a lot of them. My local town parks department has a bunch of Chevy Silverado's that are all dark green, almost black. It's not a color offered to the public. Chevy might do special batches, just like they do for those ugly yellow/orange trucks for school fleets, etc.

Heard through the rumor mill that GM's COPO for 2013 will offer additional colors, hope thats a good rumor and hope the Blue Ray
metallic is one of them. Anybody hear the same?

I have a crazy idea that may solve this problem for all of the manufacturers. Just put the Camaro SS, the Challenger SRT8 and the Mustang GT in the classification guide and stop this "rich man only" approach to new cars. Then all of the "stock" colors would be available. :D

Dr. Jamie: You say no new colors for 2013. I think you should look at the other colors out there they are so sharp looking, it would really make that copo camaro stand out and it would be the talk of 2013 season for the sportman guys ( the grass roots of racing ) that black, white, red, and silver colors come on ! Lets move up it's 2013

If the team also agrees is there a chance GM might offer addtional colors for the 2013 COPO or is it a done deal ?. I'm also curious as for the reason, I'm sure there is just can't figure it out.
When will the changes for graphic's etc. be viewable can't wait.Thanks for reviewing and responding to the these posts, very impressive.

Am I correct that the Cobra Jets and Challengers are all White only or does it just seem that way. I'm glad the COPO cars have some color choices and even more variation with the stripe selection colors. Anxious to see the 2013 stripe layout which I'm thinking may be different from 2012. We'll see soon.

The 08 CJs where all white with the optional red/blue side decal(Don't think Rocks red CJ counts does it? As a from Ford? What about Jimmy's black convertible?) . The 2010s were white and a couple "SEMA Silver",(Brian wolfes(352 cert) and Chris Holbrook(428 cert) and also I believe a grey?? vert that was used to certify the 3v combo. The 2012s were red, white or grabber Blue with silver or blue optional side decals depending on base color. The 2013 Black, white or silver all could been optioned with the brushed metal snake graphic with red outline.

I think that's about right?
Challengers I'm not up to speed on but I thought they had several color choices also.

The 2009 and 2010 Challengers only came in Stone White. The 2011 V10 Challengers came standard in White and for only $6700 additional dollars you could have any color that Mopar would agree on.
If someone were serious about building and campaigning a COPO, Drag Pak, or Cobra Jet, a paint job or the cost of a paint job shouldn't be a factor. If it is, then ya might just want to rethink your stategy. Just saying.

Dont know about the COPOs ,but the BOPOs only come in marina blue with a black vinyl top.LOL
