Drop it off at Dan The Sign Man Delaney's shop in tonawanda.
Then go hang out at the casinos at the falls for a couple days.
Sounds like a plan!

My vote is for Steve Bell. He lettered my car in paint but did the graphics on the truck and trailer in the vinyl.

I'll even put in a good word for you!

I can hook you up with the fellow who lettered all of Dave Strickler's Camaros. He is located in Hanover PA. He recently lettered Mike Strickler's tribute Camaro.

Re: Lettering guy needed

There is no question in My mind.

Dan "the Sign Man " DeLaney is the best. Just look around at his work.

Can do any style. Recently did silver leaf on the restoration of Jim Oddy's Austin, beautiful gold leaf on Jim Zakia's Opel, if you want old school traditional.

He has done all my cars since the first Olds, layouts and all.

Well worth the trip to Tonawanda.

.......and I'm not sure what the Fletch was imbibing when he made his recommendation. Maybe spell check was off! LOL

It otay! ;) I know it was just an amusing way to state a preference for paint and not a dig against all vinyl. Heck, Jack's had a couple of my decals! I think everyone appreciates real paint, gold leaf, etc. I'll be the first to admit, I'm a graphic designer, not an "artist". Whoever Jack decides to go with I'm sure will do an outstanding job. Looking forward to seeing his vision completed!

Re: Lettering guy needed

Jack

The family business is signage for over 60 years. My uncle was a respected sign painter for his silver and gold leaf skills. Have and do known a few "brothers of the brush" in my 30 years. Spent many hours of my childhood watching my uncle letter as well as some of his contemporaries. Have held a brush but am more comfortable with nuts and bolts. Am good with computer graphics but not a designer.

ALL those and a few more like "Mr. J" from here in Paterson, NJ; DJ from Garfield, NJ; Bert from Oakland, NJ would do a great job. Keep in mind some are better businessmen than others, they are artists.

THE most important thing is spend some time looking through their portfolios to understand each artist's style. The best work will flow from "their" style. When style coalesces with your vision, develop a sketch and negotiate a deal.

Best of Luck! See you soon!
