Today I lost my best friend and my dad. He loved drag racing and all his drag racing friends and family. He shared this love with me and we had many good years with all of you at the tracks. I will keep everyone up to date as much as possible. Thanks for everything in advance.

This is such sad news. Although I did not know John that well, I enjoyed talking to him frequently at the track. My condolences to Jason and the entire Silver family.
