Ugliest Stocker ever?
 

Killing time on a hot day, so I thought for fun I'd post this question, what is the ugliest (appearance challenged for the PC and/or sensitive) Stocker you have seen, in your opinion. Pics are always welcome!

I'll offer up one. I would normally think this car is beautiful, but the crew chief brings down the average. :rolleyes:

Stocker, I do not know. Drivers of stockers is a whole nother ball game. 24 come to mind, self not included.

I'd have to say that my old more door 85 Sunbird would have to be near the top of the list! I can't post any pics of it because the cameras would always break.
BTW, Ron, don't sell yourself short! if we put a collar on you, you'd win an ugly dog contest hands down!

Bob, been a many year since I've heard Dempsey Hardy's name...We raced against him back in the days and one heck of a nice guy. Think he was out of Miami, Fla area? Hope things are going good for ya. Take care Frank

I would have to say William Montgomery`s "Miss Piggy" `71 Chevelle Wagon out of Oklahoma. That Q/SA car with steel wheels on all 4 corners wasn`t much to look at,but it sure ran good. Haven`t seen it out in about 10 years.

Back in 1966 our $40 59 Biscayne 283 /185 4 speed P/S junior stocker had to be in the running NHRA told us we had to do something with the torn up front seat so we put some K-Mart seat covers on it. We were styling then with $600 in the whole car that ran .05 off the record. We ran the Crockagator every week for the trophy before Dempsy bought it & Weeks & Densmore owned it. As a two time winner (2002 and 2004, different car each year) of the Worst Appearing Sportsman car, as so deemed by Drag Racing Action magazine, I would say I should be nominated. :)

Ron Garey had an old '77 Pontiac one time, it was turdbuckeledy brown and uglier than a bucket of warts, even he admitted that. Said he bought it from a retired preacher!

I was at Rockingham in 85 or 86 with my Monza Pure Stocker. It was half paint and Half primer. On Saturday afternoon Robert Leonard came to me and said either prime it or paint it before first rd or go home IHRA could'nt take the chance of that thing getting on TV. We went to the store and got a couple cans of spray primer and primed it right there in the pits.

Bennet and Veatch 1961 Dodge stationwagon originaly built by Art Graham. I think "Red Man" has a picture or two of it.

There is no ugly stocker, just misunderstood one's. No my knowledge I've never seen uglier than some of the automobiles out there being manufactured such as the Nissan Juke cross-over. Larry all those 61 Seneca Dodge station wagons were only loved by their owners, they've become very popular the restoring and street crowd these days. Claude

X2 on the Jukes and Aztec types but I raced a 1960 Stude Lark in H/S in the early 70's that would have to be considered.
