Bradenton Race; " is there anybody out there"
 

IHRA Pro Am race at Bradenton this week. We'll be there Friday to set up The Imperial Palace Fairgrounds and Recreational Center. Got a bunch of family and friends coming as it is our home track.
The Fine Dining Cuisine will take place Saturday at around Dark:30. Same as last year, give me a call or post on here for "Preferred Individuals Reservation"

My car is is really excited as it has been sitting there gathering _ _ _ _ . Yes, you guessed it, _ _ _ _.

Should be interesting to see what the car count will be. But, it is an IHRA race. Two races one weekend. Time trials before eliminations. No scales after round 1 unless it is a heads up. Competition, fun, can't wait. See ya all there.

Ron, we had planned to be there but burnt up another tranny at the Gators... Will not have repairs done by then..... Good luck to all that are there.

I had planned on coming, but have some issues with the car. Might run the other Pro-Am scheduled for this weekend, an hour from the house, if I can get it somewhat sorted out Friday night.

What's the cost of an IHRA membership and Hot Rod number? Can I buy it on-site?

I'll be 50 miles away picking up my motorhome on Friday and might bring the car if the schedule allows.

I would think that you can absolutely enter at the gate, and become a member right then and there.

Membership is $70.00 1 year
$125.00 2 years
$85.00 3 years

License $10.00

And it will be uploaded within 24 hours. Other organizations can take up to 30 days before it shows.

Come on in, the waters just fine.

Ron: Would like to be there but PBIR is having a Super Chevy race with an entry fee of $65 to win $1200, doesn't make sense to travel accross the state to race for less with higher entry fee.

Thanks. I assume if I bring an active NHRA Super Comp and Super Gas license they will issue me a license on-site, right? The car should pass tech since it's got a diaper and went through three Lucas races last month.

Does Super Chevy have a qualified $10,000 tournament at the end of the season? It might but I have not heard about it.... I believe IHRA even helps with tow money??? Only top 3 get invited.
