Swamp Tourees
 

Here is the deal. I rented a bus for 48 people and the tourees will pay @ $14 a copy to ride. Bring your own beer. The bus ride through the mountains and bayous of Louisiana is about an hour. The boat holds 50 people, and if you are out of beer by then, the marina will help you with that problem. Our tour guide, Black Guidry, will call in the gators, and show you the eagles if they are still down here, sometime they have migrated back. Terrebonne Parish has the largest nesting population of Bald Eagles in Louisiana, I think they were 69 nesting pairs last year. He will also entertain you along the way. The bus will bring us back to No Problem so no driving issues can arise. The bus needs to leave by 3 pm latest, as the boat is reserved for 4, and it is for the racers only. I will handle the boat ride. Please email jefft@southlanddodge with a list of attendees so I know who to collect from. I will be checking in tomorrow, before we go east to Gainesville. If you pay for a ticket, and can't make it, transfer it to someone else. I just like a little skin in the game. Getting the bus loaded is the hardest part. I am going to refrence this for the Super Class guys. over here.

Jeff, what day is this gonna be? Andrew has expressed some interest and it might be educational for a Notre Dame engineering student.

I guess I missed that. It will be Thursday as soon after the media race is over. Sorry for the folks that need the test session, it is the only day I had. And Greg, your boy will never engineer anything again. One thing is funny, every year someone has some clear liquids with a peach or some other fruit floating in it. Wonder what brand that stuff is?

Swamp Tourees and Touretts, weather for Gibson, LA is 81 high on Thursday, 66 low, partly cloudy, 20% chance of rain (that is dew down here). Al and his family are waiting for a limb over the side. Black is tuning up, and the beer temp at the landing has been classified as good. So far: Brannon 7, Williams 7, Hill 2, Mendes 2, McFarland 2, Zaskowski 4, Speedy 4103 2, Capt Jack 1, Dennis Breeden 1, Spyfish 6, CBS 2, Stein 3, that's 39 for sure, and holding maybe 1 McFarland, Zaskowski 2, Williams 1. I have to get into my computer for emails for more. I will massage it as it goes. I can hold 48 plus me for 50 and that's all the boat can carry according to the Coast Guard. More later. Weather for No Problem is about the same Thursday thru Sunday. Should be fun.

Planning on making trip down this year for the Sportnationals. Will the Tour's be going on again??? If so, you have some folks from Alabama interested.

Rick, I have the boat reserved for that afternoon, but this year there might be a CIC race on Thrusday with all run. I haven't talked to Pat yet, but I can start counting heads now. Same deal as last year. Yall pay the bus and bring your own beer. I take care of the boat. And Black will provide the entertainment.

Thanks for the quick reply Jeff. With the CIC race being on Friday, making the Tour shouldn't be a problem. As far as my group goes, there would 3 of us that would like to tag along. Just let me know when and where to send the money and I'll have it heading your way.
