That's all you find anymore. People want you to give them the car and deliver too. I had a guy call me looking for an under 10k car to go racing. After chuckling to myself, I explained to him that it would not be possible for him and my car to be one. They do not (want to) realize the price of sorting a car/combination out nor are they considerate of the quality of parts and equipment that goes into the building the car. This mentality of give it to me for nothing so I can race doesn't cut it with me.

They are always soooo interested in "your" vehicle and have the cash in hand, etc, etc and then have no consideration to follow up or the courtesy to "let you down." These are the types that if you give them a $100, they complain and whine that you did not give them $200.

It's all Dad. I give him the moral support and talk to him regularly. I am 500-600 miles to the northeast and only get home 1-2 times a year.

BTW, he is having a Stock/SS race on Saturday, July 8.

All NHRA and IHRA cars are welcome. If you come in on Friday night, he will give you free test and tune.

Why would you get rid of the car if you keep winning in it Chip?

I've got a license waiting to drive! Cant hit my ***** in the Firebird lately, gotta get my head outta the darkness down there.

Well, since no one seems to be interested in a very fine race car I dont what to hear everyone cryin, pissin, and moanin when he puts a new motor in it and kicks everybodies ***. Yes Chip is a very close friend of mine, but this car is a high $$$$$ stocker that he and Laura redid from top to bottom, and front to back. You could not build this car for less than 25K. When he pulls up next to you in the lanes and cleans your clock remember JOE COOL told you so!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have bought and sold cars on ebay, sight unseen. Except for pictures. I don't know of ANYBODY that has bought a car sight unseen without even the benifit of a picture. Or two...

Fellow Racers

Chip and I have struck a deal. We have agreed over the phone and I have a check on it's way to Chip.

And all I have is one photo off Racing Junk.

Some times a fellow simply has a good feeling about a project.

I look forward to running Divn 4 next season. The engine will be changed to run both NHRA & IHRA.

I'll keep ya'll posted.
