Car count @ bir
Hi everyone.
Just a reminder to y'all that we need to maintain a 30 car count average to have the S/SS combos next year. So we DO NEED EVERY car we can get.;) Let's keep a good thing going! Don't miss out on a last chance to race for the year. Thanks! See ya at BIR Oct 1st. aGlen Demenge |

Re: Car count @ bir
Plan on being at the track, but car is down for the season. Hate to see a free entry go to waste. See ya Saturday!!

Re: Car count @ bir
Locked & loaded with 3 cars. Kari, Dad, & I. Weather look's great. Appreciate the opportunity to race close to home. Hopefully BIR keeps the S/SS class going for the foreseeable future.

Re: Car count @ bir
Hey, Scott, my car has no engine, is there a class for us????

Re: Car count @ bir
Race was finished on Sunday.
With Ben Line over Travis Sorokie for his 3rd of 5 race wins! Taking home a prize for the day of $1270 payed at the track on the spot. As well he has a track points championship with FREE entry for next year! Now then, look at what $ you get at a points meet with 90+ cars and the 3-4 days to go to it and well... you do the math. Any way; this has been one heck of a year and hope to make next year even better. Thanks to BIR for the chance to race at an excellent track. Thanks to all of you who attended. Thanks to Eric Kitzan for the $$$ponsor. For those who, for what ever reason, couldn't attend please put it on your schedule for next year. The more cars we get, the more fun we have! Save your self some gas, time, $$$, frustration and come race with a first class bunch of racers with real heads-up S/SS racing the way it needs to be. We have fun and the payout is real and good!!! Lets keep it going! Thanks again for all of the support and kind words of encouragement and making my efforts worthwhile. Glen DeMenge |
Re: Car count @ bir
I would like to thank everyone for attending all the S/SS races at BIR this year. It was a lot of fun just helping with the sponcorship, again thanks to all the racers that showed up, hopefully we can do it again next year. And a HUGE thanks to Glen for getting these races up and running, without Glen these races would not have happend.

Re: Car count @ bir
With all of the Bracket racing I did this past season, and attending several NHRA National Events along with Divisional Events, this past weekends event at BIR was A LOT of FUN!!! I for sure will do my best to attend more of these in '12 when Ron Zenzen has room for a spare car.
Saturday was crazy for me with going several rounds in the Bracket gambler race and running the S/SS Combo. Way to go Glenn!!! |
Re: Car count @ bir
Glen was a pleasure to talk to you in the pits on Sat.I did do the little favor you asked me to do in the tower, hope it helps.Nice seeing a good car count for this time of the year at BIR.cars were hooking up on Sat., been going to races for 40 years, still get goose bumps watching all the wheelstands ,I didn't care for 1/8 mile racing though. It be nice if the track could promote this race a little better, man we get to see National caliber S/SS for $10. A big thank you to all of the racers that reced this year, and hope to see again next year. S/SS Fan
