Earthquake in Raleigh, NC
 

We just had an earthquake in Raleigh, North Carolina. Not a joke. Our entire building shook and books were falling off the shelves. People are all outside and many are really freaking out. Nothing on the news yet. Anyone else have this. I understand it was felt in Durham as well. And we are worried about the hurricane! Just when you thing you have experienced everything.

Earthquake was a 5.9 North of Richmond Va. It was fet as far south as here I know.

Felt here in northwestern NJ..........Everyone came outside to see what the heck it was......I didn't feel it.....was working outside on a generator in a trailer.....

Felt it in toms river nj the house was shaking. But my grandson was outside did not feel it.

It was also felt in D.C. and Martha's Vineyard too.
Obama is vacationing at Martha's Vineyard...
He is blaming the Republican's and Jeff Teuton for the earthquake and the scare he experienced... :D

it shook here in Loudonville Ohio, i thought at first my wife going crazy when she said the couch was moving, ( I wasnt close to it) lol ;)

It was felt here in NJ (20 Min outside of Philly), I was doing training with some new associates and thought the 2nd floor was doing some work then I felt the floor shake and was like WTF, is that an Earthquake.....

Felt here in Bridgeport, CT which is in the Southwest part of the state right on Long Island Sound. The couch that I was sitting on started moving; at first I thought that I was imagining it until I heard about the quake.

About a 5.9 just north-west of Richmond, near Mineral, VA. There's a fault that runs underneath there and they get small trembler's every so often. This one is the largest since 1897!

I now have some appreciation of how my friends and family in California feel! Very strange experience.:eek:

Shook hard here in Dinwiddie, was in my car when it hit thought car was on missing bad as it rocked back and forth, then was told it was the quake. Then another one last night @8:05 4.something.

I was in Morrisville in my car at the time and felt nothing. Got home and couldn't find anything had fallen. Some of the existing cracks in the loading dock and floor at work seemed a little wider than I had remembered, though.
