Does anyone know WHY NHRA will not include S/ST in their World Champ series and more National events? Just a question so Im hoping the stock and S/S guys dont beat me up to bad.

I want to know why Stupor Street doesn't have a seed limit ?
It's supposed to be an "entry" level class and you can't enter another car in another claas when entered in S/ST !
No need to run 135 MPH + to go 10.90 !! Or a 500+ cubic inch engine.......
But people do it anyway .............

Just like the "Pure Stock" thread.... IHRA already contests Hot Rod (Super Street) for World Championships. Seems like most stuff NHRA has (or should have) is/was in IHRA... Pro Mod, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, etc. What's NHRA come up with on their own? Pro Stock Truck, CJ's & DP's, Insurance Surcharges, Pit Vehicle fees, (add your own list of fees here)

John, they did change the rule about entering more than one car !

SST is no longer classified as an "entry level class" and as of 2011, a SST racer can enter second class. Check your rule book. Why have a 500 inch mo mo and go 10.90 at 150? Same reason why A/SA is more popular than R/SA. The race is in front of you and the slower car tends to screw up worse, (so they say).

Circus Motorsports is raffling off a perfect S/St engine....lol (for a good cause too)

The race should be in front of you with that one......That would be a good setup for super street Terry....a nice inexpensive way to get you back out there.... When the stop comes off, it would take off harder than most SS cars....and you could still drive it to the Dairy Queen....lol

Put a speed limit on them or DUMP the throttle stops !!
Or maybe call it the NINTENDO 10.90 Class......And you inject a PRO heads up class where you can NOT go too quick ???

John go to the track more what you said makes no sense, the speed limit deal has been chitcanned more than once and you can run a s/st car with another class speed limit deal ur beating a dead horse!
