Live from the Woodburn LODRS
 

Hello, Stock and Super Stock fans. It's a great day for racing here at Woodburn Dragstrip. Temperature is in the mid 70s. They have a WiFi connection here at the track. It costs $5 a day, but I figure with the big bucks Kenny pays me that's not a problem. The time I save in uploading the videos I will use to encode the videos in better quality.

Toby, Great video as always. Seriously where do you find the time man??? The only stocker I don't see running is yours but I'm sure you'll find a way to do that too!

I know most of us would never get to see our own cars going down the track if it wasn't

Earl, Cyrs Camaro did have a pretty violent "parts eruption" at Mission several years ago, but I think it was the Turbo 400 that blew up. I do remember it sent chunks up thru the dash and out the windshield, but with another trans, a hammer, some RTV and a mobile windshield guy, Cyr had the Camaro ready for 1rst round that Sunday!!
As for the videos Toby, great work (again)., it appears that there are more Stock & S/S cars at Woodburn this weekend than will be at the Seattle National in a couple of weeks. Hope you guys have good weather this weekend.

It rained overnight and they were trying to dry the track this morning, but it has started raining again. The forecast doesn't look good for today with a 50 percent chance of rain.

Stock Q4 got completed with no problems. Super Stock will run after Alcohol which is after Super Comp and Super Street. They are just about done with Super Street.

I haven't payed for the WiFi today yet. One, I figured we would probably only get one run and two, the WiFi is good for a 24 hour period and I figured the longer I wait, the later I can use it tomorrow without having to pay again. So I uploaded this through my phone.

Looks like Steve Wann must have raised his wheelie bars a little bit for this pass. He's in the second pair and gets pretty close to the wall. I just got done filming the last Super Stock qualifier and I will have it up later tonight.

Yuck! Reminds me of ET finals in 2009 at good old Woodburn. Hopefully it clears up for you guys so you can get some racing in!

Having lived in the Pacific Northwest for many years theres a lot of truth to the adage "summer starts July 5th" but this year's weather is completely different everywhere it seems. Hope you guys can get it in!

The race has been cancelled. It's rescheduled for Friday September 16.
