Wanted-a few Good Stockers & SuperStockers
 

Our next race on July 16th will be at National Trail Raceway as part of the Night of Thunder show.Jim Layton of NTR wanted to showcase our group in front of a good crowd of people so we will be part of the show. As an extra feature we need about 10 of you racers with cars that can get the front end up as part of wheelie contest to be voted on by the fans(voting will be done with applause) to kick off the evenings event. As well as racing at our event the wheelie cars will all get $50 and the racer with the biggest applause will get $300. Even if you have not raced with us before come on out and be a part of this event. This includes Nostalgia S/S cars as well.

If they prep the track my junk will wheelie, at least it did at Norwalk. Sounds like a good time. We've got the spare engine in, she's pretty slow but it runs. Hope to see everyone there. Joe

Jim Layton said he will run this as the first thing out for the show so the track should be very good as in no junk on the track from the jets ect.

Track prep at Norwalk was second to none ... I had my best 60' in the middle of the day at 3000' corrected alt. hence -.012 red ... I will try to be there, sounds like a great plan for S/SS ...

I don't think you're supposed to promote independent races in this section.
For instance, I can't promote our nostalgia drags and S/SS combo here

gates will open at 9:00 am and time trials willstart around 10:00 (we probably won't get on the track for the S/SS cars until about at least 10:30. Check the Buckeye StockSuperStock site on this forum for updates and other information or watch the website. www.buckeyerace.com

Jeff didn't tell you all that in order to be eligible for the $50, the crowd has to see sparks off the bumper, or the run doesn't count!
