Im not Joe but its pretty quiet around here. Pits are full and the scales r broke unless they got them fixed in the last little while. Oh its hot too! Maybe the rain wont be much of a problem but the cooler temps for saturday and sunday will be a welcomed site for me atleats.Roberst 2061

A report from the track is that at this time there is a 5mph headwind and altitude is about 3000ft. Starting line is not great. Jim

Final order of qualifying after 2 rounds in stock,W.T.F ,only 42 cars in stock and s/s why only 2 qual. shots,,,,,,,, enhance this

3 day event is part of why on stock. Super Stock has class so that will count as a qualifying run.

Anybody know how Art Leong did in the SS/Auto combo class? He was in the final but don't see tthat result posted.

He was having a problem trying to footbrake the car. It was popping and was real lazy off the line. Don't remember the exact time but I think he was less than .5 under. As usual, great to talk to him . Hopefully he can figure it out.
I had originally posted that he lost first round but I guess not, and I watched the run. Looked on drc and he won. Guess I need to pay closer attention. Don't know what happened. There were, I think, 12 cars in the shootout first round and round 2 shows 3 cars.

It says on DRC that art was supposed to race Jimbo FIelds for the SS/Auto class Wally.

Artie won first round and had the bye in the second round but that was all that was on DRC. Jim

Only got to go for Friday, but best day anyway for great looking cars. S/SS. Pretty decent sized field. Traction at line wasn't that good according to a couple of guys I talked to, but here are some fairly good "wheels up" shots. Sorry Giuseppes trashed an engine in Q3, only 2nd time out.
