Just curious about the weather. Sorry I couldn't justify coming, but will see ya''ll next month somewhere.

I'll be there shortly. Won't have wheels to mount the new slicks on until Tuesday, but have a bunch of customer work to deliver.

Got up to TS and TD in the lanes when the first sprinkles hit, around 11am. Car count is down due to the forecast. Track was feast or famine... Some cars launching sky high, some of them hardly moving.

Most impressive run I saw (and Myron isn't going to want to hear this) was Terry Taylor... 6.73 @ 100 mph. Think he's in I/CM. (Good thing they gave them Chevys some HP back!). He asked me if I could make him some K's for the window.

Took a few pics, will post when I get home. Off to wander some more.

It would be interesting to know if he is running at "I" weight or "J" weight! ;)

DRC says race is postponed until Aug 20-21. Looks like I made the right call this time by not going.

Rain's picked up, race called and rescheduled for Aug 20-21.

Jr. Bryant debuted his new H/CM Duster, runnin' fast and looking sharp. While a lot of bracket cars have gone flat black in recent years, I think the hot rod satin black looks pretty cool.

Sorry I didn't get Super Stock pics. Got caught up in the pits talking to people about the Combo in the Hills event. Here, the Summit All Stars Champ Clay Bullard had his SS/Production Camaro loaded up when it started sprinkling. The door will be sporting some lettering in the future.

I heard Myron was rushed to the er this morning. He choked on his cheerios after Beard called with qualifying results.

Good try to IHRA and Rockingham. We have been fussing for 5 years about the early start. They moved the season back an entire month and we still get rained out. What you gonna do.

Agree with Mickey, graphics look good. Sorry about the rainout, but with the date of Aug 20-21 hopefully there will be a better turn out and it looks like it is only just ahead of Indy, and right after a big SS/S race at Atco. Looking forward to being there. Thanks for the great pictures b4 the rain.

CJ - Didn't know if you were going to make it this weekend or not. I gave your decals to Tim.

The carbon fiber stuff is DW's fault.... he's the first one I did it for. That's not "store bought"... I made the texture from scratch. May add some highlights to it someday when I get more time.

The Legend has some bulleyes for his helmet now. Everybody else has already had a target trained on him all year, so it must be for his own use so he knows where to point the finger after letting go of the button early. ;-)

I swear I'll try to get more Super Stock pics this year! I know I didn't do well at that last year... I often miss them due to where they fall in the run order. Next time!

Takes a while to get just right. It took me a while to get it right with Photoshop. Corel just won't do it like I want. But those are lookin' sharp!
