2010 Mustang Revised HP

Looking at the classification guide today's revisions show

2010 330/435 is now 464
2010 330/500 is now 534 (auto)
stick stays at 512

I am not sure what these numbers were before todays changes
Does anyone know?

The S/S Mustang is still a SS/AA that can run BA. If it gets to 537, it will be SS/AA-only.

The Stocker version is AA-only.

Before it's over we will need some new classes. I don't see any way these cars are optimized yet. How long until we see a seven?

You heard it here first. The CJ's will be faster than the SS/AH cars soon and will reach the 7's first. That is unless the NHRA steps in and does something about it. The NHRA may step in so that their showcase super stock (Hemi cars) aren't a thing of the past, like they stepped in not allowing Ingersoll's 6 cylinder turbo Buick to run in Pro Stock

That could work out pretty good as they would then have their own class.

I could see the bunch in charge replacing the SS/HA shoot out with a new one with the new cars. Ford has more money to sponsor it that Mopar right now. And we all know all that matters is Money.

Here's to hoping that Drew Skillman is just as intelligent next time he goes racing.

NO NEW CLASSES!!!

In the past when cars recieved HP and went to a 7.0 lbs/hp natural class they were no longer eligible to run stock and became SS only cars. I think there may be a few torqued off people who may have a bone to pick with an organizational body that now changes a rule that pushed them out of stock and into SS.

Just my thoughts.

What was the last combo to go fast enough to factor itself out of Stock?
