Got to the track around 12 yesterday, rained most of the day. We're pitted with good friends Billy Crenshaw and James Noel and crews. Went through tech this morning and hope to be making runs shortly. Weather is cool (for here) 53* and overcast should clear up later in the day.

Bob, I think thats how it will go. Today it was12.0,11.0,10.0, S/St, ST,S/G,S/S,S/C. Pretty good car counts not sure of the numbers though. Its been cold here (I know wah,wah) 55* and wind blowing 10-15 mhp (tail wind). My car always goes faster with a 15 mph tail wind. Good luck this weekend !

Dave the DA yesterday started out at sea level 2ft. The highest I saw was a little over 300ft but we had a10 mph tail wind. It was fast out there yesterday, made my best guess and went 10.82 put 8 numbers in the stop and went 10.83. It should of gone 10.86 or 87. I have'nt raced NHRA in a while, seems like theres a big difference in the tree. Bob and Keith thanks, I've got to get on the tree, hope to get two shoots today.

Well the DA this morning was unbelievable, when I ran the air this morning at 9:00 it was -966 ft. On my 1st run I was 10.846/130.87mhp thats probably the highest mph I've run on the stop. Made my correction and ran 10.916/129.66 finially got on the other side of .90. My lights where OK .014 &.019. Thanks Dan, I found Rusty's pit to check out his car (he's a real nice guy). He was telling me how the car has the originial paint and its still has a bench seat in it cool. I think he said Jim Morgan builds his engines. Well, my day ended in the second round, I wanted the stripe and I got it. I was 032 10.881 he was 039 10.888. See you in Gainesville.
