June 11 - 12 Marion SD
July 2 - 3 Marion SD
Sept 17 - 18 Marion SD
Sept 24 - 25 Pierre SD

Ten of the BEST class races you will find in the midwest, all races pay winner $1000 to win with $85 entree fee. Please put these dates on your calander and come race with us. Thanks to both tracks and all the people who have put this together. Dan Wiese (507) 283-4483

From what I am hearing there won't be that many going to the points race. All the "enhancements" have taken a toll on racers traveling.

The S/SS combos seem to be the trend that is going to grow. Throw in a couple of Opens and you can race all you want.

May is coming soon! Time for a roll call on who's coming to the S/SS race in Oahe Speedway on May 14-15 . Midwest Class Racers are going to add an incentive to those attending. On Sunday, we will put all S/SS names in a box and draw 5 names , each will get a $100 for attending. OK- who can make it???

OLD INJUN I understand, I would hate to see you guys get lost en route! Besides they have a new system called a CHRISTMAS TREE , unlike the flagmen back when you and hadtobethere raced!

Bob: Spy reports indicate possible movement/migration in the Valley of the Sun region. These movements (hopefully, not bowel) seem to be in a North Easterly direction. A quick bit of extrapolation, examination of on-line police reports tangent to the believed line of travel and recent increased activity in phone-ahead medication refills at pharmacies along the route all seem to indicate one thing:

hadtobethere (aka: helliwuzthere) and OLDINJUN (aka: '51 GTO) may, in fact, be on the move. And heading toward the Dakota Territories.

Perhaps most disturbing, a Hopi Indian reservation reported the 'disappearance' of two white painted Olds Toronado wheels and two 1/4X20 header bolts. Roddel needs two more wheels to add to the pair that OLDINJUN and I picked up in a Sioux Falls back alley some years ago. The boys may be doing him a 'favor' by helping him complete the set.......

As for the header bolts: If two guys are seen at Pierre with 'decoys' in their front pockets......well, feel free to tell the rest of the story (grin).

I'll be there in the Olds. I'll also hopefully have my Nova out for it's maiden voyage in Test and Tune.
