JJ do you have a contact e-mail for him?
I'd like to announce the first sponsor for the .90 Nationals at Numidia: Ken Moses Race Transmissions |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Bob-
Who should racers pre-entering make their checks payable to??? ....Sounds like it should be a great event. Good Luck & thanks in advance for your efforts! -Don |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Rob, Count me in as an entry and a sponsor.
I'll settle up with you at the MASGA banquet. Tom |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Don,
Just make the check out to Rob Keister. I set the account up today to put all the checks in until the race. Also racers when you send in your money please send your e-mail address along with it. Once I receive your check and it goes into the account I will e-mail you confirmation of your entry. Like I said the last thing I want is a bad rap from this race so I'm putting 110% effort into making this work. Tom, Thanks for the sponsorship! I will be bringing flyers to the MASGA Banquet in a few weeks to give out to the racers there. Actually just got off the phone with Lucky and his is excited about the race also....fingers are crossed for 85 cars!! |

Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Ron,
I would like to do Super Street also but, I'm a one man show right now and I do have a few people who are going to help me out but, I don;t want to get overwhelmed and make this race a disaster. I want people to tell other racers who did not come "Dude you should have been at the .90 Nationals....it was great!!". If this race takes off and I decide to do it in 2012 I will include Super Street. It does not mean NO, who knows I may have a mob at my trailer at the first Divisional race saying "Rob...Super Street...were a class also...why are we not at the .90 Nationals?" and I may add Super Street at a lower Payout and Cost. I will let you know. Rob Keister |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
I SURE HOPE YOU HAVE SUPER STREET.... ISNT THAT WHY ITS CALLED THE .90 NATIONALS????? |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Rob,
Let me see what I can come up with. I did some thinking and actually 10.90 would prob draw the most cars because you don't need an NHRA Lic to run. Plus Super Street kind of gets the shaft at NHRA National Events because they only run at 1 event per year. Let me work on it and I'll let you know Rob K. |

Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Just a thought here but I thought it may be worth mentioning. A 2nd race on Sunday may really help your car count. Even if it's just a $50 - $75 entry gambler with decent payout. Let the guys who want to head home early get on their way and anyone that wants to do some more racin can stick around. I'm always game for a 2 fer weekend......especially when it's that far from home.
|
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Isn't that the same weekend of the NHRA Div 3 race at Bowling Green ?
|
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Damien,
There is a bracket race on Sunday at Numidia. As the date gets closer I will get the information from Bob and post it. Bob does a pretty good job with his bracket program and has pretty good payouts for those races. I did it on that Saturday so the people who have a long drive or are going to Indy can get going but, if you want to hang around and race on Sunday feel free too. Also if you want to do something with the family and like amusement parks, Knoebels Amusement Park is about 15 minutes from the track - www.knoebels.com Bob, Yes it is the same weekend as Bowling Green for the D3 guys. It was either that date or Early April or October. I'm know a lot of racers like Bowling Green but, 5K to win is not a bad payday for 1 DAY of racing! Hope to see a lot of my D-1 buddies out there! Rob Keister |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
It is also on top of us little Div 1 IHRA guys event @ Richmond...oh well.
|
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Even though its on top of Richmond and Bowing Green its a very good deal. Hope you get a good turnout. I am hoping to make the show.:)

Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Rob I'll go for a sponsorship and I'll throw in 6 $100 gift certificates. 3 for best loosing package in eliminations. 3 for best qualifying runs. Each Class.
|
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
could we run both super gas and super street with same car
|
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
JJ,
If you want to run 2 classes with the same car I have no problem with that. It's all about having fun and giving back to the sportsman racers. Just be aware and ready when we get into the later rounds that Hot Lapping may become an option depending on amount of cars we have. Curfew won't be an issue but, when Bob calls you to the lanes....you better be in the car and moving cause they don't fool around up there. Greg, Thanks for the sponsorship! I will get with you either at Atco or I can stop down during lunch one day, I work about 5 miles from you guys. Rob K. |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Sounds like a race well worth attending and the Sunday race sounds good too.
I love doing both...S/C as well as Super ET Should be a big crowd Thanks for doing this deal. I can't get to as many races as I'd like to but this one is one I will make..... |
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway

Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Rob, can I assume .400 for gas and .500 for street, If so I can also run both classes and not give up much in gas.

Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
I've been kicking this around for the past few days and dam NHRA for having to be different and have a whole different tree system. You know IHRA and MASGA both run .400 Tree and NHRA has to be different and run a .370 tree. The way I look at it is this race is about getting back to the way it used to be and forever we ran on a .400 tree and why we changed it I will never understand. The only reason they went to a .370 tree was for the Pro's so they didn't red-light. I know I won't make everyone happy with the decision and I may lose some cars in the process but, for 5K to win I think people will adapt to my decision for 1 race so this race will be run on a......

Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Nah I'll take your word Rich that he's actually working...haha
|
Re: .90 Nationals @ Numidia Dragway
Yes I've gotten the Text Messages and E-Mails already. Yes NHRA just added the Z-Max divisional race to the weekend of the .90 Nationals and the answer is the date is staying the same. First off their is no room to move the race on the schedule, Second I think there is enough support in the Northeast to support this race. Third it's a 1 day race to win $5,000 dollars or more, possibly a "Top 16 High Roller race to win $1,000" and a bracket race on Sunday to possibly win $2,500, not a 3 or 4 day race to win $1,800.00 and be pushed to the back of the line when something goes wrong.
Yes, it is your decision as to pick what race you want to go and yes this will be a modern day "David vs. Goliath". I hope you pick the one that will treat you with the up most respect and still thinks about the sportsman racers because it's run by one! Rob Keister .90 Nationals Promoter |
