I use K&K for mine... Covers it all... Cars, engines, tools, toolboxes, golf cart and generator... All covered except cars when going down the racetrack...

Jim,

They all look good till you have a problem, then you will be told
it's in the FINE print ... Ask alot of questions, like is it covered in a Hotel parking lot ? Are you covered in your drive way ... Are
you covered at the track in the pits? Are you covered in staging ?
Are covered in the track parking lot ? ARE you covered if someone else is driving ... Are you covered if you hit someone in the Pits .... Most of the answers are NO !!! Get everything in writing don't trust any of them ... I had one of the people mentioned for over 12 years and never had a problem, because I never had a claim ???? First claim, Oh the insurance has changed it's postion ... Once you start the car in the pits you are on your own !!!! and yes it was a expensive 12 years ... I did learn a Big lesson get it in writing ??? Good Luck, you will need it...
call or e-mail me if you need help .... Don Kennedy, I am told has a very good deal & is a racer .... check him out .....

Hey Mack -- And just how soon will you be going down the track ?? You probably picked up 25 or 30 hp sitting in the garage ..............didn't mean to hijack this thread but I couldn't help myself .

Re: race car insurance

I don't sell race car insurance any more the E & O premium is too expensive . Just remember if it sounds too good to be true than most likely it is not true . As soon as Luck shows up and I win a national event then I will start to sell the race car insurance again as then I will be able to pay the e & o insurance premium . LOL Just waiting for "luck" to show up to win rounds . LOL

Will do , I just know every time a racer wins they always say I was Lucky this round so I figure just maybe since I am not a touring pro sportsman who has great skill cause they practice more the only way I can beat them is with "luck" , I do know they are scared of Luck cause they can't control that lol

Has anybody, unfortunately, ever had to "USE" their Racecar insurance? If so, what was the outcome? Every insurance coverage I've ever had was great, UNTIL , I had a claim.

Jim, *read earlier post....

You are dead on, they all sound great on talk ... As I said before
get them to give you a written statement on their letter head and signed & dated , what your real coverage is ??? I don't care if they are your friend, relative, etc....... Be smart & get what you are paying for , they always tell you that you are covered .... Good Luck, you will need it ?
