I'm asking for your prayers for Mike who is intensive care at the Montreal Royal Victoria hospital following a massive heart attack thursday night.

Yes I missed not going to the Open, everyone said they had a great time. Had to take some time off this summer for a few reasons, but looking to hook back up with everyone at the double at New England.

More tests are scheduled today to evaluate Mike's condition.
The family and I sincerly thank all those who keep him in their prayers.

We will absolutely pray for Mike and his family. Hope that he will be OK and that he and his family are drawn closer to God through all of this.

I was hoping that my next update would be good news.....however I am very sadden to report that it has been decided to take Mike off life support.

J'esperais que mon prochain post serais une bonne nouvelle.....je regrette de devoir vous avisez que la décision a été prise de terminé l' assistance respiratoire de Mike.

Speaking with Eric Cleary (Mike's son) at 15:00 today his father was still resting in hospital.
I will update this thread as additional information is made available.

Have just been advised by his son Eric that Mike passed away peacefully last night.
He will be greatly missed by all those who had the priviledge of knowing him.....
As soon as the the funeral arrangements are made I will post.

Mike Cleary will be exposed at the Rideau Funeral Home located at 4275 Sources Blvd in Dollard des Ormeaux QC H9B2A6 on Thursday July 22, between 2PM to 5PM and 7PM to 9PM.
The service will be held on Friday July 23 at the St Thomas Ã* Becket Church located at 4320Ste Anne street in Pierrefonds QC at 11:00 AM.

Please pass on my condolences to his family for me. Mike was a great person and will be sadly missed. I always enjoyed his stories and his company. God be with him.

I surely will Don.
He always looked forward to making the Epping meet and spend time bench racing or craking jokes with you and Gary P, Georges M and the guys from up here, Gilles and Patrick Guertin, Mike McCollun, Michel and Yanick Coté, Mat and his Dad and beaucoup d'autres....
He truly enjoyed being with all the ASRA members and was fond of racing at ASRA meets.

Mike will certainly be missed. My best to all his family and friends at this time. We won't see him at any upcoming events,but something tells me that he will be watching.
