Get Well Bobby
Bobby DeArmond is in the hospital recuperating from a very difficult knee replacement operation. The surgery was performed on Tuesday morning and took nearly four hours. Wednesday was a good day, the nurses got him up for a brief walk and everything looked great. But today is not so good. He is experiencing a lot of pain and high fever. Hang in there Bobby.

Re: Get Well Bobby
Bruce,
How do I reply to a PM here? I did talk with Jim Meador and he's talked with Bobby. He did have a rough Thursday last week. I talked to Bobby's daughter, Michelle on Friday and she told me he's holding his own. Not out of the woods yet and the biggest worry is a staff infection. Everyone please keep Bobby in your prayers. Re: Get Well Bobby
Get well soon Bobby, we're all pulling for you.

Re: Get Well Bobby
Bobby's condition improved slightly on Friday. Saturday brought a little more improvement so he decided to check out of the hospital a little early. He felt he would be more comfortable at home. His right leg is badly swollen and he has a long rehab in front of him before he has his left knee replaced in the spring. He is a tough guy.

Re: Get Well Bobby
Talked to Bobby on the phone today about an hour ago. He's doing better but not out of the woods yet. Almost sounds like the old Bobby.
Remember to keep him and his family in your prayers. That surgery is not for sissys! Jerry |
Re: Get Well Bobby
My knees hurt just thinking about this. I hope Bobby is healing up and able to run marathons real quick.

Re: Get Well Bobby
Bobby has develeped a staff infection so everyone, please keep him in your prayers. I talked with him yesterday and he's having a tough time. Prayer cards and get well cards would go a long way here.
