As a member of the NHRA I think it important that all other members know where thier money is going.

2008 was a much better year than most of us thought .......2009 should be interesting .As for the salaries ........some are a bit much for a non-profit .And the writer is correct -- Frey should make more .

I'm happy to say none of my hard earned dollars from last year padded any of those jackasses pockets. :) And with those salaries and my pay cut they certainly don't need it this year.

IHRA, AHRA, and SSSSA is good enough for me.

Look at the expenses. $15,000,000 for office expense. Where in the hell did that money go? I bet some of it found it's way to management.

Re: NHRA Members need to read this

The expenses are way out of whack. $120,000,000 in expenses. The way they are organized gives them no incentive to control costs. If this were people spending their own money it would be a lot less. Salaries for management and board members are too high. but the real money is hidden in some of the other catagories. I wonder what a detailed IRS audit would find?

10 hours a week and over $300,000 a year I need that job. Then I could afford to race and have the time.

Tried that; the people I vote for never get elected....

Are you saying NHRA is blameless in this??? Well, I guess you did ("Don't blame NHRA .")

And, if you really believe that, why????
