Classic Burndown!!

For the many of you who missed it, Mr. Root and Mr Siegler engaged in a 25+ second burndown Saturday night of the Byron Shootout. Leek was going nuts over the pa as usual. Reminded me of the old NCSGA days.
Maybe they can tell us who went in first. I blinked.

By the way why didn't more people come and support such a great program. Great payout, 3 chances to race, close to home.

CBS 05-21-2007 12:54 PM

Roc! What happened buddy? I seen you won first couple rounds in both cars? But didn't see ya in either final? How many cars did they get overall?

sstSteveM 05-21-2007 10:36 PM

I agree with 5770, there isn't a better deal than a 4 round race with a bye, bigger payout, and 3 shots to win in a weekend. Maybe the Norwalk race thinned things out, but did you notice the SS racer make the trip from Milan MI to Byron...

CBS 05-22-2007 08:29 AM

Hey Mike...

Driver error....as usual....

I think there were about 75 super gassers....and eighty something 8.90 cars....a nice turnout......and there was probably 15,000 people in the stands on Saturday.....

They're never gonna get cars when everythings up(gas, entry fees, tolls) and payouts remain the same or lessen. And they put races over top of one another(Norwalk, Byron, not to mention a T/D T/S deal at Milan) in the same region... but hey what do I know, I don't race much anymore... course its mostly cause of all of that... But they'll get a turnout at this weekends div 5 race, course its a div 3 race too which kinda sucks but whatever..

Are you coming to Martin this weekend Roc? I thought they'd get a 1000 cars at Norwalk after they cancelled the Bristol deal... Guess I'm not the only one thats tired of spending money..

SG5770 05-22-2007 12:43 PM

Doesn't look much better for the next race at Byron with the Indy Div race the same weekend.
All I know I had a great time and got my butt kicked three times in one weekend...

CBS 05-22-2007 12:44 PM

I'm going Junior racing at Mid Michigan......on Saturday....a nice peaceful weekend....

TS310C 05-22-2007 12:46 PM

SG 5770, I didn't know Ron let gay racers on the property. How did you get in?

Michael Lyons 05-22-2007 02:26 PM

funny just the exhaust note of a junior makes me think it'll be anything but peaceful.. lol

chebby2 05-22-2007 04:22 PM

TS310C 05-22-2007 05:06 PM

LMFAO!!!!!

I heard you partied with the captain again this year. He and I had a great time there last year. All I can say is at least I wasn't running around in my whitey tightys.

T Hall 05-22-2007 09:42 PM

Ryan, Missed you in Norwalk. What happened? A BABY? We gonna see ya soon?
Tony

TS310C 05-23-2007 08:04 AM

Tony,

Yea, we wanted to be there. I have never raced there and I have heard a lot of good things about that place. The new little one has something to do with it. Also we are really busy at work right now. Have to take care of that so we can play. Our T/S motor is still at Schmidt's right now we haven't had the time to go and dyno it. We are supposed to pick it up the week before the points race at indy. Maybe we will see everyone there.

T Hall 05-23-2007 09:33 AM

Did you see what it took to get in? I cant remember what kind of numbers you used to run. It was the fastest ever t/s field.

TS310C 05-23-2007 04:13 PM

I saw that. It was fast. We should have been able to get in. Now that I have someone different tuning the EFI and Nitrous it should run right.

SSTRACER323 05-23-2007 06:25 PM

Hi Ryan

How is Shelli and Rylli doing? We Did miss you guys in Norwalk.. What a great place to run... You could have thrown everything you have at that track and it would take more... 7.15 bump WOW
If you and Kirman and Radkte and Gibson and Korn where there it could have been a .00 bump. To see Donny near the bump was a shock.
hope all is going good and ill you make Rt 66 Div?

TS310C 05-24-2007 08:20 AM

Lee,

The girls are doing great! Thanks for asking. I hope things are going ok with your dad and the rest of your family.

I would imagine we will be at the Rt66 points race with the super gas car, but most likely not the T/S car. At this point we are not even supposed to dyno/pick up our motor until the week before the Indy points race. Not really getting in a hurry this year. Too many things went wrong last year. I want to take my time and make sure everything is right!

Although I really miss not being out yet, I have gotten a lot of stuff done at home. I told Shelli I don't know how we got anything done at home last year.

I will see everyone this year, just don't know if I will be behind the wheel or not.

Later,
Ryan

calvin 05-24-2007 10:28 AM

Ryan, I will see you at rt 66 in a couple of weeks.

TS310C 05-24-2007 10:32 AM

Looking forward to it Kevin! Maybe we could try some of that beer stuff I have heard so much about.

SSTRACER323 05-24-2007 11:04 AM

Hey Ryan

Dad is going great and thanks for asking.. He will be at Rt 66 Nationals with Chris Karamesines working on the car. I know what you mean about getting things done around the house.. mine looks like i collect national dragsters....lol
