Yes it is a new CJ Mustang. He backed up the 9.16 with a 9.20 run in the second session although it looked like he spun the tires quite a bit on the backup run.

It hit the wheelie bars pretty hard on both runs....We haven't looked at the data yet as we got started right away taking it apart......certainly a lot of fun to drive in the cool air....

Hey thanks for your help Hugh.....pretty much everything you told me worked out good...

Teardown wasn't that bad....for 2 reasons....one....we didn't put it back together.....two...I just helped with the accessories....and BSed the rest of the time....lol

Our setup is a lot simplier than the stockers...The Roush engine shop eliminated everything that wasn't necessary...

Rock, congratulations on the record. I attend the Indy National every year, so I was able to see your car up close and personal; it looks as good as it runs.

After only racing in SS for 1 season, One of the things we did notice is the other racers love to watch the heads up races.....it certainly adds excitement....

Congratulations to Rock and your crew. But how come I didn't see any on the record setters on the qualifying sheets? This was at Indys' National Open, wasn't it?

Not sure why it wasn't on the qualifying sheets.....we didn't get out of the barn till 12:30 am....so maybe that's why...

Big CONGRATS Rock! The sheet that is posted is after 1st round...(it should say 1st round winners) as 1st round was random pair. Hey Nitro Joe you have the "Real" sheet?

Looks like Quack, was a no show. Didn't see him on the sheet; must have thought twice about being bit by the Cobra.

The reason you don't see him on the sheet is that Valdosta is in November. They are at Reynolds, Ga. this weekend and Quack is back overseas
