cam company info
Does anyone have any thoughts about Bullet cams. I am thinking about buying a cam setup from them but i dont know anyone who runs their stuff. Any personal experiences would help. I posted my setup in 90. heads up tech under cam question. I know comp cams stuff is good but i am interested in bullet as well. Thanks for any help.

Re: cam company info
Bullet bought all the Ultra-Dyne masters, designs, parts, engineering, etc. from a Bank when Ultra-Dyne went bankrupt. At least one Ultra-Dyne employee is there, "Tim"
Just consider this, all the Ultra-Dyne designs are at least 6 - 7 or more years old. There have been at least some advancements in cam technology since Harold designed the last Ultra-Dyne cams. Comp, Cams, Bullet, Cam Motion, Jones Cams will all have up-to-date designs. And not to say the Ultra-Dyne designs will not run well because they do, however, I think in some situations you will be missing some performance by not running the newest lobes. |
Re: cam company info
Bullet/ Ultradyne grinds in most everything were building John or Kirk will help steer you if you need input.... no failures yet.

Re: cam company info
Guys, be sure to check out their crankshafts, too. I bought one for my new engine. John stroked, indexed, deburred, polished, balanced, drilled and tapped the end (283) and polished the snout (ATI Balancer) etc for $384.00 It looks beautiful and checks dead on. You can pay alot more and receive less. Thanks again, John.
