Who's Cliff?

Jeff,

Cliff is the Postman on "CHEERS". If you didn't watch it, the answer meant nothing to you, but obviously Frito watched it. ANYTIME was beer time for Norm, and Cliff knew everything about everything except the final JEAPORDY answer. His answer was "name three people who have never been in my kitchen", which wasn't what they were looking for, but was actually a correct answer. An argument ensued and in the end, Cliff relented and thus "saved Jeapordy". Humorous show.

Never realized he had a last name! Also never saw that episode...sounds like I should see it. Wonder if it's on that Hula site?

Oh yes, Cliff Klavin had a Boston accent.. and do you think it was Rob`s kitchen that the clutches were built in?

Mark, I think the reason nobody had a Boston accent was so the rest of the US could actually understand what they were saying. I had a really great neighbor who came from Boston who moved back here as his wife was from South Dakota. Fortunately, she was a good interpreter both ways, as he had trouble understanding the German accents from our area.

Bruce, Rob has cooked up some great recipes for his clutches, but I'm not sure that he's even been in his kitchen.

Yeah, I guess. I never could watch it. It just seemed like Hollywood's idea of Beantown.

There was nobody saying "pissa' every other word!

I grew up about 100 miles away and worked there often.

Yes very cool seeing all those stick cars @ that event.... 6500+ is understatement on the DA, mine showed 7300DA i thought someone yanked 4 plug wires..... D-5 definately like's to run stickshifts.....

It was slow there. My guages showed well over 7000 feet DA as well. Hard to the cars to idle at this DA.

Re: Div 6 - Montana Stick racers dominate qualifying

Actually 7 qualifying runs a shoot out plus if you went rounds. I got 7 plus a second round 9 runs in the weekend. 1/3 of the cars were sticks. 90 degree temps. The race was great not many oil downs short delay for an ambulance. This track is the smoothest I have ever raced on and I have race at most of the tracks on the west coast. If not pitted on the asphalt you need an air cleaner for the grasshoppers. Skitters were quick on the attack even with bug spray.
