Coolest Cars/Trucks
 

What do you think is the coolest car or truck or even dragster. I had seen the coolest combo but i figured I'd make a coolest car/truck/dragster/whatever.

My favorite car would have to be besides my Dad's 1994 Camaro
Brandon Wilkerson's Corvette SS/AA
Joey Bohannon's 1967 Camaro SS/GA
Tyler B's Half scale JR/AD

I think your Dad's car looked pretty cool all shined up in the car show photo with the new # 1 on the window.

Jacob, my favorite is a '69 Corvette with a 427....but, I like those old Max Wedge Mopars too!

Comp cars are nice but for me they have to have a turbo

Pittman-Edwards '41 Willys B/GS with Olds power, an Engle cam and a B & M Hydro-Stick.

They taught Stone-Woods-Cook everything they knew... or, so it seemed.

They "invented" the blown gasser/automatic transmission concept that was to morph into Factory Experimental and then Funny Cars, years later.

Honorable Mention; the SS/IA '71 Duster of Steve Winter and Terry Esslinger, perrenial record holders and OWNERS of the class at Pomona's national meets in the early eighties. Hardly anyone ever outran these guys heads up, thanks to Larry Hollums power. Low 10's in SS/IA before ported heads were legal...

Jacob, I have to agree with you on how cool it is to see that #1 on your dads car. Your other choices are pretty cool also, however don't forget if it's fast and it's competive then it's a cool ride. Tell your dad to give me a call when he can.

Jacob, my hope is with you, however remember that it's a tough number to aquire and repeat seems to be even tougher. So ride that #1 train as long as you can, cause when your on top everybody has their guns pointed right at you. I know your dad will do the best he can so just help when you can and enjoy the ride.

I have a bunch of pictures that i have taken and some are really good.

If anyone want's me to take pictures of their car just contact me on here or at the track and I will do the best that I can.

Are you referring to the car in my avatar, yes it's mine-Lee Zane drives it-it won comp at Memphis in 2006, R/U at indy that year, R/U at the Gators last year, has won a couple of points races, finished 5th in the country in comp in 2006, 9th in 2007, and has held the record in L/AA since 2003. The engine is a 176 c.i 4 cylinder built and tuned by Al Ackerman (he has an almost identical motor in his F/D and he won Etown last year and finished 9th in comp-the cars are team cars and have nearly identical paint schemes) and the car was built by Pro-Start.

There are a large number of very good inline altereds in comp, including Frankie Aragona, Glen Treadwell, Kevin Self, Jason Coan, Jody Holland, the Varsity Ford A-A-H team of Bob Huettman and Steve Ambrose, the Neff and From car driven by Clint Neff, Raymond Martin, Chad Voges, Rob Harrison, Steve Pohill's car has potential, there's another D4 car whose name is escapes me (old guy memory loss), and if I've left out anyone's name, its only because of the old guy memory loss.

may be not the coolest but the very first Super Stock GT car build by Danny Davis was very unique to say the least . These headers are worth 7 hp on dyno and do get a lot of looks http://i407.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/100_0569.jpg

Now that I think of it Jim Mantle's Pacer is a wagon.Now that's cool.And with all that glass you can't hide any tricks from anybody.And it's fast when it has to be.
